    Bernard Hopkins was.

    That was the only realistic window in which the fight could have happened.

    He could have fought him instead of a totally shot RJJ that would have been a huge UK fight

    That was a retirement fight.

    Froch had already said he wanted no part of 175 and was still a nobody who had just fought Albert Rybacki.

    Fair enough for going for the money but the showboating in that fight was sad to watch considering what RJJ was and what a peak RJJ would have done to a peak Joe

    My grandmother would have fancied her chances with Roy Jones at that point.

    Wouldn't have been so bad if Calzaghe made a fortune out of it.... Jones got a 50-50 split :yikes

    That was ridiculously stupid by Calzaghe.

    As it turns out he'd have probably earnt more by letting Frank negotiate for him and paying him his % :lol:
