Hearns had alot of spectacular, devastating and brutal KO wins. There is also many fights where he boxed beautifully.

What are 5, even 10 fights that come straight to mind that left you in awe, gobsmacked at a particular performance or KO win??

It didn't leave me in awe per se, but his win over a then undefeated Virgil Hill I thought was fabulous, especially considering he was almost totally written off beforehand...even moreso when considering Hill didn't lose again for about 6 years.

Regardless of how it ended Hearn vs Hagler is by far the best performance of Tommy's career!

I think Cuevas is my favorite performance. He looked like a freak of nature. Duran was the most spectacular, though.

No, it's one of his worst, he fought the worst possible fight. I'd say. 1. Duran 2. Cuevas 3. Benitez 4. Leonard 1 5. Virgil Hill

Curry fight was an underrated performance. Thought he looked bad but showed lots of heart against Hagler and Roldan. He did in every fight TBH. My fav performances from Tommy off the top of my head are Leonard II, Duran, Cuevas, Benitez, Hill, and actually Barkley II despite losing as well as Leonard I.

it was a great fight for Hagler and boxing history, but Tommy fought the wrong fight. Tommy knocking out Roberto and getting confidence with that fight and then Marvin and Thomas not liking each other much and ego made them war like that. But Marvin was the natrural middleweight.

    Tommy's best fights?
    Benitez
    Cuevas
    Duran
    Hill
    Leonard 2

And those fights were at 154, 147, 154, 175,168 across all the weights. Shuler was his best middleweight performance.

Cuevas or Duran. Chased a top fighter around the ring and beat him like a child. Duran, took a ATG and disposed of him like he was nothing.

I think Hearns' legs were gone before the fight, he received a deep tissue massage. Manny Steward and Tommy's gameplan was to box Hagler on the backfoot for 15 rounds. Before the fight, Tommy said his legs were shaking, he knew he couldn't box Marvin for 15 rounds. That's why they changed at the last minute to go right after Marvin and go for the quick KO.
