That he's a Canadian hype job . Says they're hyping him over there but he struggled with Lloyd who's not even British level. Then linked that to Bute perhaps not being that good cos he's also massive in Canada It was just a load of insular shite.
One of the reviews for that Klitschko movie came from the Huffington Post. That being the paper/website that the majority of the weird threads on the Lounge are inspired by!
1 televised fight and already people pissing and moaning. I guess the only surprising thing is that Jim Watt has so far escaped any critisisim.
the guy doing the live text on bbc just wrote dont know if he is serious or not Enough of the chilled serenity of a Saturday, though. It's dark, dingy and downright raucous at Capital FM Arena, as thousands of East Midlanders and, doubtless, a few Canadians and Romanians, crank it up for the biggest fight on British soil since Nathan Cleverly beat Tommy Karpency in February.
'Vitali went through a bad patch, he had flashbacks of seeing people on stairwell jacking up heroin and at same time was offered Steroids and in a rare moment of weakness accepted'.
That part is fair, but then to infer Bute not very good either because Canadian overhype their boxers was a bit daft to say the least.
Cote should face either.. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=381730&cat=boxer Or http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=65400&cat=boxer Both will ask different questions of him.
Frampton will probably put in a similar level of performance to Cote, but I highly doubt the punditry will be the same as it just was for the 'Canadian hype job'...
"We couldnt get Vitali because he got a ban." Thats all is said about it in the movie lol. Saw it on Monday.
No one paid any attention the first time you said it, so no need to repeat :good. It's unbelievable how much pundits/people on here alike have written Cote off based on that. Poor showings v journeyman like that are not just common but inevitable for prospects at some stage. We need to see him in with someone looking to fight back before making a real assessment.
