:patsch Did anyone else think he made a right prat of himself leaping into the ring with his beaming big face ? another fighter and another place he could have cost someone a very important win. Was probaly celebrating the buisness side of things more than Carl's Magnificent achievment imo.

That was really stupid of him to jump in. He could have got Carl absolutely ****ed there. Luckily he didn't.

The thought of a PROMOTER getting a fighter DQ'd after his best performance would have been terribly bad and funny as **** at the same time.

A part of me did kinda want Bute to get the DQ win. He could've been the only twice knocked out undefeated fighter in the world ever.

it looks mad when you re-watch it. Not sure what the ref was up to either, a standing count? Props to Butes team for not turning it into a farce, i suspect they could have. Eddie won't do that again, i'm sure!

the guy just lost it as a promoter and as he says, a friend of Carl's.
But at first i thought the ref waved it off.

watch FW in next week's edition discussing how bad hearns was rather than froch's tremendous victory.

It's a knockdown when the ropes are the only thing keeping you up. The ref did go in with his hands in the air like he was waving it off, though.

    Eddie Hearn a G.

It was hilarious when he got in the ring, started celebrating, turned around and just went "oh ****" and ran out of the ring.

Embarrassing by both Hearns and the ref, the ref waves the fight off, then starts counting, what's that all about? Luckily Bute's trainer arrived to tell the ref he was pulling him out anyway, otherwise it could have got chaotic in there.

This. If he is giving a guy a count he shouldn't have had his hands up in the air.

Think Bute's seconds were on the ring apron first so he would have gotten out of it, but on a another night that could have got messy, thought Hearn lost the plot big time.

its the ref who is definatley at fault here.

everybody recognises that when a ref waves his hands like that hes doing so to wave the fight off, hence everyones reaction.

to then start counting was just dumb.

yeah that was hilarious hes like jeez and scampers off
He called it off at the 8 count aswell I think.

I was terrified it was going to be a Molina moment there, would've been a disaster
