Bute was exposed tonight as an overrated protected bum that didn't deserved to share the ring with Froch. Bute made a living out of fighting no-hopers and has beens. He would have been luck to win one fight in the Super 6 hell I would pick Abraham to KFTHO. PS Froch did boxing a favor tonight exposing Bute and his fans.

Yep this clown got got knocked out by Andrade awhile back. Since then he's been feasting on bums like like Jean Paul Mendy, Brain Magee, jesse brinkley, Miranda. A bunch of nobodies and yet people were actualy claiming that he was the number 1 super middle in the world. :lol

I've been known for my Bute criticism on these boards over the past few years.

But I only ever pointed out that he never fought anyone and that he could not reasonably be ahead of the likes of Froch and Kessler, and the canadian people and the romanian ones in particular kept giving me **** for voicing my opinion.

I respect Bute for putting it on the line, but he was never on this level. Kessler would absolutely KILL HIM.

Honestly he got caught with a few nice short right hooks from Froch, to me it looked like Bute was trying to allow Froch to punch himself out a bit, But the ones that did connect did too much damage for him to recover.

I have a feeling Butes team may try to protest, during the count, Frochs corner did enter the ring. I mean sure he wasnt going to beat the count, but the ref was still counting and team Bute seems like the type to pull something like this.

Good for Froch, Now since your saying that level of opposition means something, this win though its good, it should not be over rated, in other words of Bute hasnt fought anybody worth note, a win over him would be mediocre?

Ward would have beaten Bute worse than pbf beat gatti. The difference in class was apparent to anyone who knows boxing. Bute is the biggest fraud in boxing. A protected stay at home bun with a shaky chin.

Who knows if a protest will happen. I just watched a replay of the fight there, Bute was being lead back to the corner like a timid lamb at the end. He was barely able to acknowledge Froch as Froch went to commiserate with him.

This type of knee-jerk backlash is part of the reason so very few fighters take chances.

This! Exactly this! I was fighting with everyone I watched the fight with (who were all thinking Bute was gonna run away with it, I had Froch) Froch has been fighting the elite of the division for years now. Bute was made his name fighting washed up/one-dimensional/bums, with his one semi-elite opponent being Andrade. There was nothing Bute had in his arsenal that Carl hasn't already dealt with and usually defeated. Level of opposition or experience against the world elite fighters is a big factor and was a huge advantage that it seemed like everybody completely overlooked, because of Bute's shinny perfect record.

Apparently being on the apron is enough, and Bute's cornermen where on it before Hearn entered the ring.

This is what I hate about the "supposed" real boxing fans.

After one defeat and you have been delegated as bum, phony, shot, trash, etc, etc.

This is why we have these situations where boxers chase money and forget legacy.

We put them in such a short leash that they don't want to take a risk taking one ****ing defeat and losing millions and throwing their entire life's work in the trash.
