http://www.*****.net/2012/05/cobra-admits-retirement-plans.html Kessler was there apparently says he's keen.
Thanks Stiff yea that would be fine with this fan mate Kessler then another pop at Ward if he is successful , I think Andrade proved in their first fight Bute hates being jumped on and to his credit Frochy did just that by the sounds of it , Kessler is a winnable fight for Froch after the last bout but I'm still of the opinion Wardy will always be too quick for him . Great result though for Froch tonight . Well happy Britain got a new champ .
Excellent performance by Froch! Could have easily took a tune up fight after his back to back run of tough fights mostly abroad over the past few years. But he took on the undefeated IBF champ and beat him convincingly. I'd be interested to Bute's thoughts as I doubt an immediate rematch is likely.
That show is ok actually. A nice laid back look at the lower leagues without the serious so called expert know it all ego ****s. So glad Froch won. Bute doesnt deserve to have an 0 next to his losses, and has been taking it easy for far too long now.
Great result for Froch. I thought the fight would be a tough one (50/50) with either fighter edging it om points. Great bounce back from the Ward fight and a few tasty options in LH or SMW divisions now for Froch!
Bute wanted no part of The Cobra in the final round. Froch is one of the classiest champs getting around, fights absolutly anybody and has a smoking hot missus :good
Yeah the rematch clause in Canada. after that beating I would give Bute huge props for taking that option next up.
Kessler/Froch 1 was a tough fight with Kessler winning clearly. A nrematch in the UK would be close as you'd have to add the factor of Kessler using up nervous energy, etc. Bute for mine has always been like a lite version of Kessler. Doesnt have the crisp potency Kess has, nor is he nearly as intimidating. A rematch I'd really like to see, and one that I'd brobably get off my arse to actually watch.
local rag up here in the isa in their best bets of the weekend section called bute at $1.50 the bet of the year and to get on , just shook me head as the paper headed into the bin, ****ing sports editors who know **** all about style versus style.
