Bute is not and never was a fraud.

He has beaten legit guys for years, and done it in incredible fashion. Losing to Froch doesn't mean he was a fraud at all... ****ing boxing fans.. almost as bad as MMA fans.

    agreed.

I still believe Bute can comeback and win a rematch.

He simply didn't fight like he should have... he stupidly entered into Froch's game.

You can't win a fight vs Froch if you fight like him.

Try: Bute can't win a fight vs Froch if he fights him like him.

Are you hoping for Calzaghe - Lacy II by any chance?

How about a Spinks rematch with Tyson?

Maybe Hatton having another pop at Pac or Mayweather?

    Rubbish.

Froch looked like Roberto Duran on the inside against Bute. Ward would absolutely make a mockery of the defenseless Bute, he is excellent at roughing people up in close, legality aside.

Thats a difficult beating to come back from, he was wobbly several times and his eyes rolled back in his head at least twice.

He must have been in some shape to recuperate so quick, but at the end he was a mess. I cant believe the ref thought for a moment to let him carry on.

Rematch? He hasn't had a shellacking like that in 330 fights. Want to see him fight gunshy against Froch?

Bute is better than Lacy ever was.

    Hyperbole much? :patsch

A re-match right off might be a bad idea, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Bute came back and won a re-match. I wouldn't put money on it, but I wouldn't be all super surprised.

It would surprise most people in the sane world. He got his arse beat from pillar to post and effectively had no defensive game at all. He also had no idea what to do when pressured on the inside.

It wasn't as though Froch caught him with a lucky shot, he started dismantling him from the first round. It isn't even the punch resistance that is the issue, even before he got hurt he was totally hittable.

Another Canadian hype job exposed. First Lemieux, then Pascal, now Bute. Who Next?

Started I think 3rd round really, Bute got cocky kind of nodded his head to Froch like bring it, then Froch tossed a hard straight left that Bute never recovered from.

He had no answer for the straight right, and it hit him all night.

He can fix that, and he landed his share of hard shots on Froch as well. Froch hasn't fought that well for quite some time, and a re-match in Montreal could go a different route (doubtful though, but it could).
