Lucian Bute vs. Carl Froch RBR

I take it you didnt notice the pattern.

All those fighter could fight a thousand times and the result will always be the same.

Bute cannot handle Froch. He aint winning a rematch against him. Ever. He got ****ing slaughtered, and it wasnt due to a silly mistake, or a missed opportunity. Froch was simply better in every department.

Bute got KOd and I misses it.....

 

It didn't get heated until the third you are right but it was pretty clear as early as the second round that it wasn't the fight the bookies had scripted. Froch couldn't miss and Bute couldn't get off. When Bute did the bring it on routine there were already signs he was in trouble, that was just false bravado after being rattled as is usually the case.

He recovered reasonably well after the first 10-8 round but was still too hittable so it was only a matter of time before Froch turned it on again.

Bute landed a few hard shots once Froch had deemed he wasn't a threat and commenced the reckless aggression but he was always out exchanged and the fact that Froch took the few hard shots he did land doesn't bode well for a rematch. It wasn't just the straight right, the clubbing roundhouse shots in close completely brought his defense undone. Froch was throwing uppercuts from the southern hemisphere and Bute still couldn't avoid them.

I disagree about the idea of Froch fighting above his usual level. Once he realised just how hittable Bute was he was like a kid in a candy store. He would stop him again if there was a rematch, it would just be a matter of time.

 

For ****s sake if you're a fan of Bute a rematch is the last thing you should want he was absolutely and completely destroyed tonight.His team reacted superbly to the defeat and showed a lot of class if a rematch was to happen it would end even earlier Froch knows he is by far the better man and more importantly so does Lucien.

 

I placed side bets kn this RBR. But the crash screwed me, confound it.

 

I missed it, too. How could Showtime or HBO not have had this fight? Assholes!!!:fire

Just saw this a minute ago. Freakin Froch KILLED his arse! Look at the condition Bute is in walking back to his corner after the carnage. That boy is messed up!

amazing result, although I did pick Froch, it is still surprising when it happens in such a complete fashion.

 

This had at least 1125 posts before the fight even started.
