Jesus Soto Karass vs. Said El Harrak RBR

Wow, Lamazon and I are just seeing a completely different fight here.

He's got El Harrak up 4-1.

Round 6

Jabs to the sternum by Soto Karass. El Harrak steps around to his left, stance wide and stiff, looking like he took a dump in his drawers and is trying not to let it drip down through his trunk sleeves. El Harrak pops a jab from outside, just priming the air. Big body shots from outside by the long-armed Soto Karass. El Harrak is knocked back against the ropes and seems hurt, and has to move forward to tie Soto Karass up. Break called, but El Harrak is slow to comply. Half a minute left. Soto Karass walks El Harrak to the ropes and ducks a jab. Right hand flush for El Harrak but Soto Karass is locked in on target, ignoring all incoming fire and fixing a menacing glare on El Harrak. BIG burst of hard body punches by Soto Karass.

Round 7

Big left hooks to the body by Soto Karass! Right hand to the face! El Harrak is backing up and jabbing. Jab/right/jab lands for El Harrak as Soto Karass comes forward unblinking. El Harrak shoulders low into Soto Karass, pushing him to the ropes. Soto Karass ducks a right and hooks the body. They lean together, and each drives their upper arms into their opponent's face. Tit for tat, El Harrak backing up and landing straight combos as Soto Karass lets shots slide off his face and bangs the body with either hand. They grind together, El Harrak leaned over to his right and shouldering into Soto Karass, getting hit with body shots.

 

Round 8

Body shots by Soto Karass. El Harrak is folding up in the middle, arms wrapped around his head, and backing up. Soto Karass is diving in and jabbing the abs, and throwing looping rights into the side. El Harrak skirts along the ropes and gets whipped with left hooks downstairs. Body snatching clinic by Soto Karass. El Harrak is getting his gloves up to pick off head shots but still getting touched with some jabs. Soto Karass is shrugging off every jab and right El Harrak throws off the back foot as he comes hammering in at the body.

Round 9

Soto Karass rips out continuous body shots. El Harrak backs up and pushes a jab into Soto Karass' face. Hard hooks to the midsection by Soto Karass. Right hands up top to keep El Harrak from exploding on him with a silencing combo, and back to work with hard left hooks to the body. El Harrak is pushing an arm down on Soto Karass' shoulder, but still getting hooked in the body as he backs up. El Harrak steps back and snaps out a right hand to get off the ropes!! Damn!!! Soto Karass comes forward and gets drilled with rights!! Won't stop or take a backward step!! Body shots by Soto Karass! Rights by El Harrak!

What an epic way to end this fight! Karass is still coming on BIG RIGHT HAND El Harrak comes back with his own shots, Karass is just coming forward like a machine though! Dayum! Great finish. I have the fight 97-93 JSK.

 

Round 10

Soto Karass is jabbing high and hooking the body, leaning in. El Harrak stretches his left elbow out high, inverted, pushing it into Soto Karass' face. Right hand by El Harrak. Soto Karass pushes forward and hooks the body. El Harrak lands his own hook to the body. Right hand, and a big combo to the face of Soto Karass by El Harrak leaning back off of him. Big shots traded both ways. They stare each other down as they walk away at the final bell. Then they meet up in the center of the ring, grinning, to hug.

I've been following JSK for many years now, and have never understood his ring name. :huh

It means "The Reluctant One".

With his style in the ring, he's anything but. :yep

Did someone kidnap his mom and force him to box professionally for over a decade while they held her hostage?
