Lucian Bute should have won, Carl Froch should have been DQ'd

Common, I'm a Bute fan and I'm disapointed but please be honest, Bute was out since the 3rd round. And Bute was already out when it happened.

 

Didn't see the fight, sounds like it was good, I wonder if the big networks will regret not airing it

 

WTF was Showtime thinking....They aired a bunch of Bute fights against bums, but they don't show the biggest fight of his career against Froch? what the hell?

 

Huge Bute fan here. And all I can say is you make us Bute fans look HORRIBLE. GTFO!

I disagree, I think its a fight Bute will take. He obviously has something to prove and its in his hometown. If not, I can totally understand why and wouldn't attack the guy for it, but I honestly think he'll step up to the challenge.

Hopefully he doesn't though and we get Kessler-Froch II. That **** writes itself.

Nah, you can let that one go. The beating was too much and should've been stopped earlier anyways. Bute needs a big comeback fight to redeem himself.

 

That is a call that the ref must make. He chose the right call and didn't stop it. Could you imagine how pissed logical boxing fans would be if he DQ'd Froch?

Bute took a hellacious beating and the ref appeared to wave it off, THEN give a count. It was the ref's mistake. It would've been an absolute farce if he then awarded a dq win to the guy he was having to hold up because he was so out of it.
