Kessler-Froch II makes a ton of sense. By the time that fight gets made, maybe the Cloud-Pascal winner or the Ward-Dawson winner is next in line depending on the outcome. As for Bute, he's still a class operator. There's two things I'd recommend: 1)I wouldn't put him in with a puncher straight off, but put him in with a boxer so he can get his confidence back. 2)Don't put him in with too soft a touch because it'll show a lack of faith and damage his image more. So, if I'm Interbox, I'd go for Andre Dirrell. I think he's the best style matchup for Bute out of the "name" contenders left.
After froch rematches and beats kessler... I would bet he moves up to face pascal who might be a belt holder by then. I can also see an old close to 50 year old hopkins calling froch out. Its the kind of thing he does. Where people write him off and he chooses opponents who he thinks he could beat but the wider public see him getting blown away - kind of like the pavlik-hopkins fight. Pavlik and cleverly are other names out there at 175. Then there are also options of domestic fights with young guns degale and groves. Could be passing of the torch for old froch in a few years
Bute: Professional wrestling. Froch: Whatever he wants. He's obviously now the #1 draw in the division. I would think Kessler. If he wins that, then Ward, of course.
I don't know about that one man, I think Dirrell matches up horribly with Bute. He won't put the heat on the way Andrade and Froch did and he can't take a punch like them, either. That's a bad fight for Andre.
Froch walks straight into a rematch with Kessler. Bute builds his confidence, potentially with a match against Allan Green/Abraham
Bute should hire a respected trainer like Mayweather Sr. in order to improve on his defense. I think his inexperience at this level showed. That is what happens usually when fighters fight low level opponents for a long time " they don't find out how good they are and what they need to improve on because they look so good and their managers and promoters feed into the mental perception the fighter has of himself as that of someone who is invincible".
