Lucian Bute should have won, Carl Froch should have been DQ'd

bute got his ass kicked.....it happens....quit looking for some kind of technicality

 

Well truth be told the this thread is indeed correct.
BUT this isnt the first time this has happened. Take FM Jr Vs Judah. Floyds corner came in to attack Judah. During the fight. And to make it all worse - Judah got a fine an suspension.

BUT beyond that.
Bute got whooped. And I thought he would win on points.

 

The ref waved as if the fight was over, but the ref did so only to say it was a knock down. A DQ would come down the the refs decision and he didn't call for a DQ so there for no DQ.

 

The ref should not have walked in waving his hands like it was all over.

The ref signalled a halt to the bout and then started the count, was wierd when he was waiving the fight off with 20 people inside of the ring celebrating

 

Oh wow. I was waiting for one of these threads. The ref clearly made the universal signal by a referee of waving the fight off. EVERYONE thought the fight was over (it also didn't help that poor Lucian Bute was basically on another planet, severely concussed with his eyes rolling back into his head) and so they began celebrating. It would be grossly unjust to DQ Froch for a mistake by the referee, one he probably knew he had committed. I don't even know why he bothered to count anyway. Can you imagine what Froch what have done to Bute if he had let Froch come in again? Bute could have been seriously hurt and it could have ended him.

 

Apparently under IBF rules if cornermen are on the ring apron it is classed as them throwing the towel in.
No way you can DQ Froch here.

 

Let me correct you canadian ******, the ref waved it off and then decided to give him a count.. ( bad refing ).
And anyway Butes corner waved it off anyway before he got put in a coma.. :yep

 

Bute barely could stand by his own, what are you talking about. It was a clear KO win.

 

I dont think that rule applies to promoters. I know if the corner man enters the ring then the fighter gets DQ´d.
It´s a BS rule anyway.

 

Yeah, but everyone pretty much agrees that the Kirkland / Molina fight was a **** situation that should never have happened. You want even more bad calls in boxing? C'mon now, the Froch/Bute call was right, had Froch been DQ'd that would have been a disgrace.

Some of these muppets on here are unbelivable, Froch was ****ing tremendous 1 of the biggest world title beatings i have ever seen...
There was a bloke on here called decebal trying to tell me Froch was a grade b fighter at most...
