Lucian Bute should have won, Carl Froch should have been DQ'd

You are unbiased but at the same time you are saying that a guy who got his ass whooped should have won the fight :nut

And referee made swimming move and Froch saw that and thought it was off and then surprsingly referee started counting. It was referee who made them thought that fight is over.

Nice. Good trolling. Bute's corner waved it off anyway, when they saw he couldn't continue. On top of that; the ref caused the confusion by appearing to wave the fight off.

 

should of would of could have but didnt becuase he wasnt ******ed.
either way the fight was stopped at the right time.

Havnt read the whole thread so Appologies if this has been said earlier.

The first person to stand on the ring apron was a Bute cornerman therefore if you're going to envoke that DQ ruling then Bute is on the receiving end not Froch.

Apart from that Hearn was reacting as much to seeing said cornerman on the ring apron as he was to the initial indication from the referee that he was stopping the fight to save Bute from further punishment.

Anyone trying to argue that Bute should win by DQ is deluding themselves, clutching at straws and being totally unrealistic. He was beaten about as comprehensively as a fighter can get beaten even more so than a fighter who gets KOd in Rd1, Bute had 5 Rds to show his ability and was unable to do one meaningful thing at all. Conversely, Froch out thought him, out fought him, was faster, hit harder, threw combos, dictated and dominated.

End of, nuff said!

 

It was agreed before the fight if a fighters trainer stood on the apron their fighter would be automatically Disqualified. Barry Mcguigan was at the boxers meeting and he said that was the agreed rule.

2 of Bute's trainers stood up to evoke the rule and save their man. End of. I guess Froch's manager knew the rule and seeing the ref waving (and then about to count - ****ing useless ref) and thought he should jump in. He looks like a bit of a ***** now if the ref had carried on

 

Eddie did Bute's health a favour and I'm not saying that in a sick joke kinda way, he really did. The stoppage was fine, the ref shouldn't have started the count anyway.

 

Hearns saw Bute's team go on to the apron first and thought they had quit.

As it happens they did quit when the ref was thinking about asking Bute if he wanted to contiune.

Also the ref was making poor signals all night.

 

Dude, Bute's team was going to pull him out anyway. And did you see Bute the round before that? Bute was jelly legged walking back to the corner!

Bute got exposed, tbh. He looked appalling against a world class opponent.

How canyone can believe that Ward was avoiding this joke is beyond me. Ward would have ****ed him up too.
