We forget how respectful Bute and his trainer were.

Froch agreed for a remach in MONTREAL, he's not kind of fighter to ask for a neutral venue now, I think ! :good

As a Nottingham-based Froch lover, i have to give all the credit in the world to Team Bute. They have been nothing but classy before, during and after the fight. They could easily have kicked up a fuss about Hearn entering the ring (i'd blame the ref though, he was very unclear and looked as if he waived it off rather than calling a count) and pressed for the DQ but they didn't.

In addition to that, Larouche had nothing but good to say about Froch after the fight and the whole team seem to be genuinely decent people. Froch has said as much, as has Hearn. Also, i was at the fight and the Canadian/Romanian fans were nothing but class aswell. They were very loud (not quite as loud as us :yep ) and supportive to Bute but gave Froch his due after the fight and clapped him out of the ring.

I've been critisizing Bute for a while now (nothing against him, he's all class but some of his fans have been extreme in praising him and it's been seriously annoying) but he proved his heart by coming to Nottingham to defend his belt against a warrior and despite the fact he lost, i have much more respect for him now than i did a few months ago.

I genuinely wish him all the best and hope he does well. I'd like to see him take a tune-up at 175 before fighting Pascal in Montreal. I ****ing love Pascal!

Bute now have 2 monsters living in his own backyard.Pascal and Stevenson both would be great opponents and crowd pleasers in Montreal.:good

Fair play to Bute for being a consummate professional throughout the entire thing. I do wish him all the best but I honestly think we'll see him spiral downwards now. I think Bute's opponents are generally rather gun-shy for fear of being banged out themselves. I'm expecting that to change now they've seen how Bute reacts to pressure. He'll take a few tune-up fights and look quite fancy ko'ing a few but when it comes to elite level SMW bouts, I think he'll fall short.

Bute vs Abraham - interesting fight...

Bute may have lost his standing, title and reputation last night but he won respect for those reasons :good

His fanboys left a lot to be desired but the man himself does not :thumbsup

Yep, there's no doubt Bute is a good guy and his team seem decent as well. But it's good for boxing that he was exposed the way he was. Needed to happen.

Yep. Pascal-Bute is a very interesting fight, because I think that Pascal has a shot at KO'ing/stopping Bute but also I think that Bute has the skills to outbox Pascal.

My thoughts exactly. I hope Bute recovers from this loss.
