Froch beat him already and tbh I think Froch has gotten better whereas Dirrell has gotten slower (age) and has been inactive. Add to that his lack of heart and technical ability and I don't see why it should happen.
Me too. Kessler II is most likely next, though. Dirrell hasn't got a leg to stand on to ask for a rematch. If Froch is willing to give him the light of day, it'll have to take place in Nottingham. And if I was Dirrell, I wouldn't argue with that. Froch holds all the cards.
Dirrell is no where near the top 5 SWMs and has fought 3 times in 3 years. He lost to Froch and I do not see what has done since that would get him a re-match. Dirrell needs to rebuild his career and not worry about the Elite.
I doubt Froch would want to fight Dirrell again. Dirrell is in a tough position. He's a tricky fighter and he has no momentum.
i respectfully disagree . Dirrell is gonna be back and everyone knows that you can't say who is better between this two, Andre had only 17 pro fights when he faced him. he is more experienced now
well. if giving froch hell in his backyard and outclassing Arthur doesn't make you top 5 then i don't know what top 5 is
I thought Dirrell won the first fight. I think he is trouble for Froch or anyone else. Maybe he hasnt earned a rematch for the title, but lets be real he is a talent.
He didn't give Froch hell in his backyard, he ran which made for a boring fight. But he never came close to taking Froch's title. He was shook. Against AA he showed his class but towards the end he was starting to crack. AA KD'ed him (not counted by the ref) and I think Dirrell was looking for a way out. He ducked Ward like a *****. He has done nothing since coming back from his injury (which I suspect was not legit, since if it was he would never fight again). Dirrell needs to come back and beat a top 10 SMW then he can look at Bute, Kessler, Froch, Ward. But the fact that he ran all night and made Froch miss a lot does not give him the righ to a re-match. I don't think Dirrell is mentally strong enough to be a champion. Dirrell is not even a top 5 name on Froch's resume. And I do not give fighters props for talent if they can not turn it into consistant performances at the top level.
Why the hell would anyone want to see Froch-Dirrell again? Their first fight was awful. Froch-Kessler II is obviously the fight to make.
Dirrell doesn't deserve it thanks to the way he's conducted himself since he ducked Andre Ward, and came back fighting nobodies. But Dirrell already beat Froch once in Notthingham, and he'd do it again, if given the opportunity. He'll probably stick to HaymonBox showcases though.
