And how did you manage to extrapolate that one sweet heart? I'm talking about what the UFC is paying them and you're blabbering on about their entire package. Learn to pay attention in class.

Could it be it has something to do with the tax system ? something like official cash being taxed and bonus not taxed ?

Not sure about the USA but bonus's in the UK are still subject to taxation. Point i'm making is the salary the UFC is paying them seemed quite mediocre for big name marquee stars like JDS Cain etc. Odd to think that Mir still makes decent money despite loosing when he faces a live body. 'How' the UFC works their deals out with fighters doesn't seem to be that logical. Certainly not on the outside looking in anyway.

You're not making a point and you know it damned well. You're just bitching, as usual. :nono

You are simply not in a position to know how much money JDS and Cain made for the fight. You're just an irrelevant nobody sitting behind his computer with no access to the inside information about PPV cuts etc. You couldn't even tell me what JDS earned to the nearest half-million, it would be just a guess. You are commenting without knowledge. You have pronounced a verdict while knowing damned well that you don't have access to see the evidence. :-(

I guess the fact that Mir is a former champion with 20 fights for the company stretching back over a decade, might have something to do with it. :patsch Mir is a guy with a name who has been a solid employee for years. He has high-profile wins over some big names and has helped the company before by stepping into cards at late notice, including this card.

How is it "not logical" that Mir be earning as much as JDS, or close to it? Remember that Cigano may be the champion, but he is making his first defence. This was Mir's 5th title fight. :nono

Ooooo you're just soooo precious aren't you sweety. They're can be only one response for this load of dog ****:lol::lol:
Seriously why did you even take the time to compose this crock? I quote an article from MMA Junkie ABOUT THEIR UFC Salarys verbatim but ***gis the know nothing MMA google scholar wants to have a dig about the price of fish? Seriously just stop posting mate. You're like the MMA forum version of Opie except you're actually a ******.:lol:
Here's a bit of advice for you though. Next time you want to wade into a thread swinging your E-Balls and quoting stats from Sherdog just to remind everyone how little you know about MMA, try and stick to the topic pookie and keep up. I mean a man as pedantic as yourself surely should have been able to figure out the discussion from the thread title right? Thats a rhetorical question by the way. I don't require answer.

  8. You can only comment on what's made public. Their private deals wouldn't make up for the completely mediocre wage rates.

Its hard to imagine Big foot only getting a base 75k for that treatment by Cain, a fighter in his hard earned prime fighting on the biggest stage for a conglomerate, seems like utter robbery and exploitation IMO. The brazilian audience he attracted and everything.

You didn't respond to anything he actually said. You effectively ignored what he said even though it was a perfectly good response with valid points. This was pretty much one long non-sequitur lathered in with some ad hominem for good (?) measure.

Good boy. No flys on you aye. :smooch
Now if you think it raises valid points -none of which have ANY relevance to what i wrote or pasted VERBATIM mind you- why don't you get into bed with ***gis and discuss it over some pillow talk boo?

You'd make a good politician, you've got the mudslinging down... even if it is kind of banal.

I'll wait until you actually address what was said knowing that I may be waiting a long, long time.

love the ufc fanboys who think that dana hands all the guys envelopes stuffed with cash backstage.

sometimes that happens maybe, but not all the time.

the owners are milking ufc to shore up their other businesses and when ufc declines it might fall apart fast.

How old are you, scurla? Because this is just infantile drivel. :-( I mean, what is the point of even posting that? You don't show any knowledge of MMA. You don't address a single point that I made. You don't even come off as smart or funny, because your insults are cringeworthy and filled with nonsense baby talk. :patsch

"UFC 146 salaries: Headliners Dos Santos and Mir to make flat $200K paydays"

Yeah there's the headline. I pointed out that JDS and Mir both make significant extra money above and beyond their base pay, primarily in the form of PPV cuts.

You KNOW DAMNED WELL that this is the case. You KNOW it, scurla. We ALL know it. But you're such a pigheaded wanker that you don't address it at all. Instead, in your opening post, you talk like you really believe that $200k is all the heavyweight champion will make for the fight. :-(

Tell you what, scurla. Here's a couple of short, easy questions for you.

    1) Do you believe that JDS and Mir each earned a flat $200,000 for their night's work, as described in the article? :blood

    2) If you realize that they received bonuses, PPV cuts etc, could you hazard a guess as to what JDS actually ended up earning? To the nearest half-million should be fine. :good

    3) Why are you such a *****? I mean, it's embarrassing, what you've come up with so far on this thread. Just a pathetic spewing of vitriol. No humour, no wit, no knowledge displayed, no attempt to rebut points made. Just an angry, lonely man with a meaningless grudge. :-(

If you're going to patronize me, at least make sure you're not babbling stupid ****. :-(

PPV cuts don't count as the UFC paying the fighters now? That money doesn't register as part of their fight payment? Because scurla says so? :patsch
