While Froch has worked hard to maximise his athletic potential, he also points out that a lot of the credit must go to Mother Nature: Im very lucky genetically, I dont put weight on. My father is like an athlete, he walks around at 13.5 stone and hes 62 but he drinks Guinness like its going out of fashion and he eats what he wants when he wants and he has a six-pack. I think its Polish genes, my grandfather on my dads side was Polish .
