And actually, if Ward decides he likes the feel of LHW after testing the waters against Bad Chad and having success enough to stick around...the winner of Kessler vs. Froch II may actually then be the #1 SMW. :think

Of course, that all hinges on Kessler coming back down. I hope he does. I don't like him being at LHW.

Everytime somebody has a big win people get a carried away. Beating Kessler, ok, but knocking him out?

If you did this poll right before the fight it will be very different when all this Froch hype dies down.

That fight could have went either way. I literally just finished watching it again, and scored it 116-114 for Froch. Al Berstein and Antonio Tarver who were calling the fight were split, Berstein having it a 1 point victory for Carl, and Tarver scoring it a 1 point win for Kessler. Meaning there really was no clear winner, the second time around in merry ole England Carl gets the nod, and I think he takes it more significantly then myself and Al :nut thought he did the first time.

    I voted Froch on points.

Kessler was badly hurt by Green. He showed vulnerability there IMO.

Froch/Kessler II is the most logical fight in the division. Both are regarded as the 2 best super middles after Ward and their first fight was a close, competitive affair. And the winner would clearly be the logical mandatory for Ward.

This time around I would favour Froch. While I had Kessler winning the first fight by 2 rounds in a easy to score fight, I felt Froch under performed. He showed glimpses of the improved technique and boxing ability but he simply didn't do enough and force the issue during the crucial moments in the fight. This time round an improved more aggressive Froch wins a close decision on home soil in another exciting fight.

This is a fight where other if not both fighters will not leave the ring as same men they got there.
Both are too tough and too much pride in there. It will be absolute fukin brutal fight, almost a slugfest.
I mean watch the ending of the first fight. Man... that was sick trading and Kessler was almost out of his feet and kept firing back with his heart keeping him there. Both gave absolute everything they got...

I would not mind if the Fight where made in Finland. Get in Helenius there and the Arena will be sold out.

I am picking Kessler again. I think he has a bad style for Bute.

SHiws how good Ward is and how styles make fights. Still would love to see Ward/Bute as the guys who pushed him the most swarmed him(Froch and Andrade for last few rds) and Ward fights nothing like that nor has size or power to impose on Bute.

Interesting fight still and people overrate a loss as usual. Did Bute not lost to the 2nd best SMW? Also Bute beat Bika and Miranda much easier than Ward proving again that styles make fights.

True:deal. Still a guaranteed good fight I don't care which man wins.

I know it could've went either way. Had it for Kessler the first time and Froch the 2nd time scoring. Funny seeing guys think Kessler won it decisively, he didn't. Best choices in a rematch are either man by UD.

Ward is on another level to anyone on this radar. I believe he's an ATG in the making.

This old shot version of Kessler will KO Froch in the rematch, there won't be a rematch with Ward as he will be too scared to take it when he sees what happens to Froch.

    Remember this post.
