Fights will happen where they can generate the most money, get the most TV exposure and make all involved the most money possible. I don't disagree with your idea necessarily, it just isn't going to happen. Another thing to consider, how would one explain two non Americans fighting in America (Manny vs JMM)? If it's so imperative to fight "at home" why are they not pushing to have the fight in Manilla or Mexico City?

I think as you say a lot of it boils down to pure money, it shouldnt do but it does and thats a sad thing that i doubt will change anytime soon

Joe had the shot to make as much money as he possibly could if he fought Jones in the US. He turned down the deal to stay at home and waited until Jones turned 50.

Ottke Reid was the best scored fight in History.

So was Calzaghe-Manfredo, Peter might have gotten brain damage from those gusts of air.

But he isn't really from Vegas. He's from Grand Rapids, but you're right. Fans loudly cheer for his opponents.

Okay, you want to go there:
Khan-Barrera: should have been stopped in Round 1 due to the cut.
Froch-Dirrell: Mind telling me when Boxing started having body slams the WWE would love?
    Ottke-Reid
    Chisora-Helenius
    Selif-Petkovic
    McCloskey-Prescott
    Campillo-Murat
    Palacios-Wlodarczyk
    Wlodarczyk-Cunningham 1
    Reid-Ottke
    I can keep going on.

He's a transplant to Vegas, or is Audley Harrison now a road warrior for fighting in the UK while living in California?

  11. What an absolutely ripsnorting post from a poster at the peak of their mercurial powers. :patsch

Fartsnorklers, tranny queens, and bumsteaks. Take a leaf out HEAD's book and realise that this is the kind of competition that's out there. HEADBANGER has just raised the bar yet again. Salutations. :happy:deal

This x2 HEAD summed it up perfectly.

  13. He never fails Arcers. Easily one of the best posters in ESB history. :deal

A true scholar and gent. I recently recieved a phone call from the famed 46-0 informing me that HEAD on behalf of the Team Elite Corporation will be providing me with a private jet that's going to be flying me out to Liechtenstein to meet Professor I C Chins as part of the celebrations leading up to my 1000,000 page view :happy

  15. I can confirm this. You have so many profile views that it has now reached a number which quite frankly doesn't even exist!:deal:happy

Apparently, 46and0 is an ESB Legend. I have heard so much about this poster through ESB folklore. If I could emulate even one iota of his success then I would be doing a sterling job indeed. :deal
