Cotto fight proved why Floyd fears Pacquiao

    "The Cotto fight is clear proof that Floyd has trouble dealing with left-handed fighters. The left side of Mayweather’s face was swollen, indicating that Cotto has repeatedly connected with his left fist during their junior middleweight bout. This is precisely the reason Mayweather is eluding Pacquiao" Arum said.

    “The fight proved to me beyond any doubt why Mayweather is ducking Pacquiao; it's because Mayweather is unable to defend himself against left hands,”

    Arum said that if Cotto had done that to “Pretty Boy Floyd’s” face, imagine what a power-punching left-hander like Pacquiao could do to Mayweather.
    “And when you compare Miguel's left hand against Manny's natural left hand, it's no contest,” he said.

    Arum believes that he’s established his point and brands Mayweather’s excuses as a smoke screen to hide his weaknesses.

    did you see pac's face after his fight with cotto? floyd's post fight face is cleaner than pac's pre fight face. lol

    also, don't pay attention too much to what comes out of arum's dirty mouth.

    Cotto fought an Inside fight, whenever it was Mid Range May was hitting Cotto with huge ass hooks rights and jabs...

    Pac would fight a Mid Range fight, trying to get the huge combos at weird angles, but yes if May fought off the ropes there could be a chance Pac's fast combos could get in I'll give you that, but if its a mid range shootout it's gonna be By May Schooling.

    If PAC tries to make it an inside fight by pushing May back trying to corner which he was unable to do against Mosely so I have my doubts but if he learns to properly corner MAY he has a chance, if not its gonna be a MID range schooling by May

    Cant the same be said about the jmm fight for manny??hell floyd cleary beat cotto and almost knocked him out..manny arguably lost the jmm who is a counter punching lightweight

    you mean a guy who's coming from a winning streak at his comfortable weight division? a man who was fresh off a victory over a man who cheated him? he couldn't have been any better against floyd, cotto was a beast.

    comfortable weight, great training camp, and winning streak... these were all on cotto's side but none mattered as floyd still schooled him. he barely won a round ffs. the version pac drained would have been ko'd early.
