You can base them on ring achievements all you want.

I'm talking officially. He officially moved up to 175. He has recently said that he plans to stay at 175 unless something at 168 prevents itself.

So again, Kessler may move down in weight for the right fight, but he plans to campaign and fight at 175.

So again, don't rank him at 168 for OFFICIAL rankings.

Well hes had one fight there, but I don't think that is his weight. I think he will fight Froch next in England for the ibf title. He does not have weight issues. Dirrell, Andre atleast is a complete non factor in the division.

Most of my post was about Dirrell, not Kessler. I can totally understand why he wouldn't be ranked there. Even without him, I don't think Dirrell is top 4, although its pretty clear he has the talent to be (or higher!).

Eh... Sourland made him give the shot at 168 to Abraham. It sounds like he wants to come back and beat Froch again though.

For the 97th time, he is now a 175 pound fighter and has said he'll only move down to 168 for the right fights.

Personally, and again its just my opinion:

    Ward
    Froch
    Bute
    Steiglitz
    Dirrell

To be honest 4/5 are pretty close but I just think because he's (Dirrell) done nothing in the past two years and Steiglitz has five defences over guys better than Dirrell's last opponent, I have RS at 4.

It shouldn't be like that as I believe Dirrell would beat him but I always go by in-the-ring achievements.

I'd definitely have Bute ahead of him though as without Abraham, Dirrell's biggest win is probably Oganov. Whereas Bute has maybe 5 wins better than that (Magee, Brinkley, Miranda, Johnson, Thobela, Bika).

I have Ward at number 4 behind Taylor, Pavlik, and Calzaghe.

Right now Bute, Stieglitz, Bika, Oosthuzien, AA are all above him. Nobody doubts Dirrells talent but he does not even fight anymore. Hasn't he turned down multiple fights with Ward?

I'll put Dirrell over Bute and Steiglitz anyday. You'll find that more fans agree with me than you.:deal:thumbsup

AA lost to Dirrell man. Not sure where your getting that from. Bika has fought the best, sure..lost to them too.
