You may be right but I feel someone like Steward could improve his defence.

Rubbish mate. You get loads of idiots around bars saying they have 'killer instinct' but couldn't be **** as a boxer in reality. Bute just choked on the night, pure and simple and Froch was ready to give his absoulute best.

I do agree to some extent though but it is not a genetic thing regarding his bottle, it's a mental thing. He's been waiting for so long at the semi world class level in his back yard that he just couldn't hack the big level in a world class boxers back yard.

You can look into it as much as you like but it's just a mixture of him being perposely built up by boxing promoters and match makers into something he wasn't, and complete and utter choking when it mattered.

I agree, he looked worried when he walked into the ring to me.
Has he fought in anybody's back yard before?
If not in hindsight taking this fight seems like a massive blunder.

He just froze after he took the first punches. He wasnt expecting them. He went into the fight overconfident, thinking he's gonna dictate everything. Instead, Froch landed a few and Bute just stood there and took every punch thrown. I mean look at his footwork if you can even call it that, it was like an amateur. I cant really understand how something like this can happen at this "supposed" level. It was painful to watch. Bute went to war without any weapons. The aggressive factor was non existant.

Hope someone on Bute's team smacks him in the face and does something about his attitude. Bute can still comeback with the right state of mind.

As his fan, i really didnt like all that nice guy attitude before the fight. You could see Froch was focused and had "mean" written all over his face while Bute looked as if he was going clubbing.

Well Wlad has lost like Bute has done on a few occations - and as he has come back Bute can do the same. He has the boxing skilles to beat Froch, but he has to control the fight and not let Froch dictate how it's fought.

Give him a few months to recover and some to traine - then a rematch. If he can get it together and beat Froch, then he has a furture in boxing - if he doesn't, then he accomplised what he can and can retire and live of the earnings :)

Well, he kind of did. Just in the same way seals go clubbing.

Maybe Froch should get more credit here? Just an idea.

    Overrated to begin with.

The whole 168 is way overrated.

You have Dawson who got schooled by Pascal, who lost to post-calzaghe Bernard Hopkins and Froch.

With their skillset,if you compare them to the lower weight fighters, they are journeymen. Their only redeeming quality is that they are fighters that would look awkward being carried on someone's shoulder.

LHW. So what?Their mini-tournament is way overrated, just like the S6. Besides,Dawson vs.Wards seems to be at works at 168, so he will be soon.

No version of Bute would ever beat Froch. If he exercised the rematch clause Froch would end his career.
    Froch KO2 in a rematch.

You think he doesn't ? We're not downgrading Froch accomplishment here. We try to find an explanation, because Froch didn't demolish in this way fighters like Johnson who was completely dominated by Bute or fighters like Magee who hold his own and was close on points until the stoppage, but he did it against Bute.

Your absolutely correct, but Froch has so many haters on ESB,that they find fault with his opponents rather than give him credit for beating them.
Bute was Ring Magazines #2 SMW.

  15. You seem like a chill cat

and I love Bute now for some reason (probably because that troll Vladimir have now left his battleship)

But let me point out some differences

    Wladimir Klithscko was brutally exposed

    but the difference is that

Wlad was exposed in 2003... around the time the HW Division was headed into the shittiest weakest most pathetic era in boxing history.

Wlad easily came back... and was exposed again rofl...

but came back AGAIN all due to one thing

    not manny steward

    not his heart

    not his courage

it's all due to the fact the HW Division became **** so nobody can expose him ever again.

If there was a HW Version of Froch or Ward or Kessler

Wladimir would have gotten brutally koed 2-3 more times and retired

A great example of Bute and Wladimir will be

Bute gets knocked out by Froch.. Half the top SMW'S retire

Bute gets knocked out again by some random

THE OTHER HALF of the top smw's retire

Bute is now left alone to fight bum after bum to rebuild his career
