    Completely agree

Butes legs stiffened after the first telling blow and I could see the fear in his eyes and actions.

He looked surprised and his honest words tell us this was the case.

As a big fan of classy fighters, I am now a Bute fan.

I hope he forges an excellent career for himself.

It took a brutal 5th round KO to become a Bute fan?

I think it took Bute's press conference to make him a fan.

Lucian is a class act. But then again it's no surprise, I wasn't expecting less from this guy.:clap::clap:

Yeah, I don't mean this in a offensive way at all, but he has no poker face in or out of the ring. You could tell instantly that he was troubled by Froch's shots, there was no hiding it. Then in the interview he more or less admits that he was shocked by Froch's punches.

Froch, himself an honest fighter, has said that he felt Bute's shots and he definitely had power. He was probably just as troubled by Bute's shots as Lucian was by his, but you'd never guess it from watching the fight. When Froch was hit he put his foot down and came forward, when Bute was hit his entire demeanor changed.

Another thing I noticed was that in the second round Bute threw his first trademark uppercut to the body. Froch had obviously been working on this and blocked it very well, then gave Bute a big grin. I wouldn't be surprised if this had an effect on him too. Not nice being in there with someone whose shots are hurting you and who apparently doesn't respect your power and can anticipate your best shots.

    No.

It took a classy reaction to a brutal 5th round KO to become a Bute fan. Before I was very, very indifferent.

Not to mention on his home ground. Altough it may not seem a great deal, for someone who had never stepped out of Montreal for a fight - like Bute, I'm sure it was rather distressful to fight in front of the opponent's fans.

So, I guess you're more like a fan of Bute - the man, than Bute - the boxer. Right?

Exactly, bute found himself in a situation that was previously alien to him. I did notice the blocked body shot and to be honest and i don't want to disrespect bute but he didn't look like a fighter in there. Froch has said in an interview since that he saw the fight drain out of his eyes and that is exactly how it looked. Bute looked lost and scared and for me he has no chance in any re-match.

I'm not sure I get your meaning but if you're implying I'm a "Butard" using an alias you're sorely mistaken. Little paranoid from you to accuse without proof like that.

What a great way to lose.

He is a true gent and gains even more respect from me, and hopefully others.
