    Well put.

I think Bute should move to LHW if he wants to continue. He has been struggling to make 168, and 175 gives him some interesting options.

I think he could do well up there, but the sad thing is,I think that was one of those defeats that a fighter never truly recovers from.
Something career-altering happened to Lucian's psyche the other night, and I don't think it will end well.:-(

What I'm really trying to say is that I think from now on Lucian Bute's toughest opponent will be Lucian Bute.

I think it turns out he should have done that a long time ago. Usually, he barely manages to sleep the night before the weigh-in because of how dehydrated and weakened he is, but this time, for example, he couldn't sleep at all. That cannot be healthy and it cannot possibly not affect his performance. Losing 20 lbs in two weeks is too much, especially if you cannot stop yourself from putting on another 10lbs in between fights, like Bute does. (he walks around 192lbs and weighs in at around 182lbs on fight-night). He's a LHW fighting at SMW. Hope he's learned his lesson - he's not good and strong enough to give away a whole night with 36 hours remaining till fight-time, without it impacting his performance a lot.

Hopefully Lucian is right and he can come back from this. He is such a class guy, unlike somebody like Froch.

I have my doubts though, he will need a long break and to maybe move up.

    Typical ****ing shitehouse.:patsch
The **** about Froch having no class isn't even washing with Bute fans(at least the ones who aren't total dickheads)

Give it up.No one thinks you're funny or more pertinently, right.

I am not trying to be funny. Froch has never had class outside the ring. This is for Bute fans, go to froch forum if you want to talk about Froch.

I don't want to be drawn into analysing the fight or making predictions about his future, but it was clear that whatever happened to him mentally, happened before the fight, not during/after fight. If you watch his post-fight interviews (sorry, they're in Romanian) you will see he comes across as extremely well-balanced, honest, sincere, etc, a lot more so than I've ever heard him. He always used to sound a bit like a politician, a bit too pleased with himself, a bit superior and yet unsure of himself, hidden behind a veneer of politeness, diplomacy and niceness, but now, at last, he came across as himself - a lot more real and true. If anything, I would say that mentally he is in a lot better nick than he used to be before the fight, strange as that might sound. As he himself said, sometimes you need to lose to make progress.

    Sup, mate.. :(

Over here.. :( (thanks for your pre-fight message, appreciate that)

Still kinda shocked. Even though I don't take it as personally as some do, it still sucks and if I haven't been posting the last 2 days, it was to let the dust settle a little bit so that the trolls get away (you know, those people who we see only on big fight nights, and never see again untill the next big fight). I didn't even post on french forums before today. But hey, still a big boxing fan, I'll still always support Lucian as he's the one who got me hardcore into boxing.

And, most importantly, what a good performance by Froch. Total domination. No excuse. You'll see me again on your (god damn) express. ;)

    P.S. Tyler, I ain't hiding! :rasta
