The thing is ward beat him so bad the first time, it had him questioning his own abilities. It's one of those fights where the fighter comes to the realization that they are not as good as they thought they were. It's the type of pain he will feel again if this fight happens.

 

Froch wasn't himself that night,and Ward beat a lesser version of Froch,but i think even the most hardened Froch fans know that Ward would UD the Best version of Froch.

Remember ater the S6 win, Ward was ready to give a revenge to Froch. Why not in England? With the new buzz around Froch, it could be possibly in a bigger arena like the O2 in London. It could be also a good occasion for Ward to shut up all his critics about a stay-home fighter. Maybe, it's time for Ward to travel.

 

I say give Froch the chance to prove it. Froch-Ward II is a fight I want to see!

 

froch is one of my favorite fighters, but simply put, ward completely neutralized him. froch has boxing skills but they're null and void when he steps into the ring with ward, ten times out of ten. the way froch destroyed and manhandled bute directly confirms the amount of physical strength ward has, regardless of his punching power.

 

In fairness there are probably only 2 fights for froch left. The kessler fight can and i believe will be made in the uk because kessler will travel. I think all froch is trying to do is talk up a fight with ward cos in reality it is the only big fight left if he beats kessler. And from what we know of froch and the way his mind works don't be surprised if he truly believes he can beat ward. I am a froch fan but think ward decisions him but it would be closer, especially in the uk. Regardless of froch claiming he wasn't himself I don't think it can be argued that he was slow, loading up and predictable against ward.

 

Sounds like Kesser "who nex" so he has to win that before a shot at Ward even makes sense. I think Froch was just high in the moment and giving his fans something.
