Kenny Anderson nearly stopped Groves and he barely had a camp for that fight, Froch would **** down his neck. Groves not ready for Froch yet.

I think Froch is (quite rightfully) very proud of his much talked about run of fights against world class opposition. He's not going to give that up fighting someone who is still domestic level.

Kessler and Pavlik (in any order) then Ward, then retirement.

I think Groves is just talking, trying to get his name out there again, I doubt he genuinely wants the fight, Froch dropped him in sparring.

Groves is just trying to get his name out there, like Carl did pushing for/ a fight with Calzaghe that was never going to happen.

Groves is trying to get some attention after his embarrassing "I'm injured, I'm not injured, I'm injured" routine a few weeks back.

    Froch would squash him early!

He knows a matchroom card is the only way he'll get paid. Regretting not signing with Eddie Hearn...?

Agreed , like this kid Groves but Frochy would ice him in two or three rounds ala what he himself did to Smithy , keep cool , stay calm and learn off the likes of Frochy George ,

Funny I thought about this the other day, in terms of are there parallels between froch calling out calzaghe

I think froch was far more ready though when he called out Joe and if I recall correctly beat pascal when Joe was still active

Groves needs to get a good few fights in while froch tends to his business with Kessler and ward, and just maybe it would be realistic for froch to have a swan song against groves

But realistically their levels and ages are way too far apart

I like groves but he has a bit to prove to get in a position where he has valid claims for a froch fight, even as a domestic / homecoming / sign off fight for froch

A year or so down the line if frochy has another tear up with kessler or someone and groves gets a few decent learning fights at euro level after kenny and builds his name and gets a ranking it might be a plausible fight.

no chance, carl only fights top level opposition now, also what have you done to deserve a shot at him.

I like groves but i don't think he's ready for carl yet. But if he wanted to take the risk and carl wanted a bit of a easier night and a decent domestic pay day i wouldn't hold it against him.

I think carl would stop him less than 4 though.
