ward don't fight for the fans. Risks are not on the agenda and since he stipulated within his S6 contract that he wouldn't leave oakland unless it was for a final within his country then i doubt very much he will change his mind now:verysad

why would he leave America to fight a guy he alreay beat easy? Especially after the Froch vs Dirrell decision?

I have a feeling that if Froch and Ward fought 10 times, Froch wouldn't be firing on all cylinders in any of those fights.

If as a world champion you don't believe your the best in the division you are virtually saying your a paper champion, something Froch is never going to admit.

So on this point this is something was he just has to say to keep credibility.

The 'I wasn't myself' quote either stands or is completely ridiculous depending on your view, it stands if you look as Froch doing bad against Ward, and is ridiculous if you view it as Ward doing well against Froch.

I personally see it as a latter, but of course any fighter is going to believe they are in complete control of their fights.

'Kessler any day of the week' I don't think anyone can disagree with this, everyone would rather see this fight as it was alot less of a domination than the Ward fight.

This interview is based on Froch believing in himself and riding high after an overall unexpected victory, don't deserve the pages of laughs.

Ward vs Froch was a lot closer than people make it out to be. Ward is a great fighter but Froch tested him bigtime. If Froch can improve or catches Ward on an off night, he can beat him.

That said Ward could come out stronger in a rematch, since he is entering his prime and gaining experience with every outing.

It's a rematch I would love to watch.

And this is exactly why i don't care too much for his attitude as a fighter.

it is as plain as day that ward was never going to leave america even before he beat froch, even before froch vs dirrell. So yes you are right I can't see him changing his mind now.

Unfortunately for ward he is not even close to being ppv nor does he have a big following. i appreciate his skill but will never go out of my way to watch a fight of wards cos it is very predictable and un-interesting.

Now, if ward all of a sudden decided he would come to the uk and put it on the line like froch has done all his career then we have a different scenario and hopefully a fight worth watching even if ward does win. Ward gets to go home having gained loads more fans, respect and money. Lets face it, if froch beats kessler then you can safely say he is where the money and the excitement is at SM. Ward may just want a piece of the action:hey

What did anyone see in the first fight to suggest a rematch is in order? Ward is about to fight the most difficult opponent of his career, someone who actually has some physical advantages against him. Froch has none whatsoever, other than power, which is something everyone has against Ward. There's nothing to recommend the rematch, though I don't blame Froch for talking big. He's living in the moment after a career-defining victory — good for him.

Now, Froch/Kessler II in England makes great sense. Bring it!

you think he is worried about you watching his fight?
Again why would he go over to the UK when he saw his friend Dirrell get robbed and he already beat Froch?
When Ward beats Dawson there is really nothing left for him to prove **** he could retire

Let's be honest here anyways- even if you think Ward wins just as clearly the 2nd time around, him rematching Froch is still the most interesting option for Andre between 168-175. The only wild card is if the Dawson fight turns out to be a great one, in which case a rematch there would be an obvious choice.

  14. Andre Ward is a ****ing god damn

    boring as **** ****..

He is the most boring piece of **** I ever watched.

If he comes to England Froch is gonna knock him the **** out.

Ward is lucky as **** a prime Nigel Benn with his pcp induced rage is not around now.

i will love to see Ward use his headbutts on Nigel.

The last guy that tried it is living through a straw right now.

Ward is a boring **** that can't sell out an arena of 2,000

    he also never traveled

Lennox Lewis traveled a total of 19 times for title fights

    19

The only people I hate more
