Froch - If Andre Ward Fights Me When I'm Firing on All Cylinders, He's Getting....

Just because he calls him out and says he is prepared to drain himself doesn't make it any better of a situation. Ward will not be fighting the best dawson that he could be fighting.

Dirrell didn't get robbed, he fought scared and deserved to loose a close decision. If froch beats kesler he will deffo be were the money is at, in fact he is probably the most marketable of all the super middles as we speak and as it stands ward can't sell out nowhere. If he wants to earn well then maybe he may just find himself in the ring with froch again. Money talks and if the uk makes sense then why not? **** me if all boxers had the attitude of ward and those who support him then there would be **** all happening.

 

With Ward involved, is there really a "general public friendly fight" available? The best move he could've taken would've been to face Bute himself and knock him out to get that kind of momentum. Andre's currently in the same boat Hopkins was in where his skills surpass his entertainment value.

Andre needs to not only win against Dawson but do it in exciting fashion in order to take the next step from P4P talent to superstar. Until then, he's going to be more reliant on his opponents' name and fans to sell tickets for any fight that doesn't happen in Oakland.

Right now, Froch is again the most exciting name available within the weight range and the one that'll sell the most tickets.

Not dissing Froch's win but can he sell tickets outside the UK? You have loyal fight fans here that know the fight but not the general public since both HBO and Show took a friggin pass on it. I understand Showtime's reasoning but their gamble just failed big time. They've been trying to 'own' SMW since giving Taylor a contract.
