I agree, I'm keeping high spirits as well. . .

He still might be able to walk again. . .

BUt I seriously doubt he'll ever return to the ring again. . . This is just too serious. . .

Are you freakin kidding me, it'd be a miracle if he ever walks again, let alone fight

right now boxing should be the very least of his priorities

    Correct

He will never walk again, the story I read said that the cord was severed, there is no fix for that.

Kevin Everett suffered a fracture and dislocation, that is not a "severed" spinal cord.

Sad ending to a career, fortunately he is alive and has plenty of spirit, he will need that moving forward.

    So sad for Paul...

Its to early to tell, surgery has not been done yet. Hope he has a full recovery. The doctors have been proven wrong before. Just hope Pwill overcome this like the champ he is.

I agree. I have felt sad the whole day for Williams. I hope he can financially do well and have enough money for his family. It is a sad situation. I really hope for the best for him. That he will have a long happy life.

I really cant even believe this happened. Just recently I was imagining him trading blows with canelo alvarez. Bad things happen to good people. There's absolutely no avoiding a life altering experience, good or bad, when it comes your way. what a shame.

I think we all gathered that he won't be fighting again, the most important issue at the moment is the mans health, no ones even sure if he'll be able to even walk again.

True ive already put his boxing career out of my mind. Its not happening guys. He has more important things to worry to deal with now. The challenge in his life now will be rehabilitation to the best of his abillities. When you ride a bike you always know the risks that are involved. It sucks though

Impossible to tell unless you have some high level knowledge on spinal injuries. Otherwise its just guesswork.

did you not understand? There is no magic surgery to repair a severed spinal cord. End of story, it's the sad truth, no matter his will, there is no chance he walks again naturally. With a prosthetic device, he may be able to stand or possibly take steps, but that is a far far cry from a full recovery.

Condolences. I hope he lives a fruitful and comforting life from here on out. You'll be missed dearly Paul.

Thank you for the great fights you've given us over the years.

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. What a tragedy.

He made some extremely successful real estate investments during one of his fights. I think he'll be financially stable/sound for years to come. Don't have to worry about that.
