They agreed not to take hair?
Can you send me a link. Appreciate it.

    Or was it...

Q: If you blood test, is urine testing necessary at all?

A: "Yes, because there are certain things that you're not going to find in the blood, that you can only find in urine, like most forms of EPO, steroids, designer steroids, insulin. You have to have a combination of the two. Look, I'd love to have one strand of hair. From a cost and logistical standpoint, the simpler whatever we collect, the better. Not that collecting blood and urine are difficult, but you have to have the proper procedures in place, and account for the shipping, and the state that you need the samples, once collected, to remain in a preserved state where they can be accurately analyzed. You can build those programs. It doesn't take much. We obviously would prefer the simplest mechanism possible. But just pulling a strand of hair is not effective to protect a clean athlete's rights because there is so much that can't be detected in hair, or saliva, or other things."

I understand that! If Manny had accused Floyd of cheating then Floyd sued i would not be supporting it, that is what i am getting at. I see fighters suing each other differently.

    Fair enough. :good

I would support Mayweather. Spreading untrue rumours to tarnish your reputation for no good reasons, isn't right.

LOL, Montoya is a known hater and does and says what ever he can to bring PBF down (the same as Steve Kim). He says in his response that a reporters job is to report what they hear from 3rd parties. No a reporters job is to find a story that is newsworthy and is TRUE. Any hack can report **** they hear ( everyone on this ****ing board are reporters now) a reporter is suppose to weed out the BS and NOT only focus on whispers and innuendos (not to mention the voices in his head) that support what you want to hear. who in the hell does he think he is George W building a case to go to war?

“We’re here to stop those who are intentionally cheating,” said Travis Tygart, the chief executive of the United States Anti-Doping Agency. “But you have to appreciate that there are rare times when athletes bring forward convincing proof that it was not intentional. The rules are flexible enough to take that into consideration.”

The problem is that when someone accuses you of cheating, in this case a pro athlete, it can hurt his reputation thus hurting his ability to earn the same "brand value" income.

It goes beyond simple trash talk. Although, maybe it doesn't. Like Ali and Frazier and many others. then again, Frazier just got even inside the ring.

Now as far as what should be done for damages...I don't know. Like I said with Frazier, he handled his business inside of the ring.
But overall, I haven't bothered to think about it. Simple thing is to "get an apology"...like a kid who has been bad.
But what if an apology is to late considering the possibility the damage its done to your reputation and even wallet?
I don't know. That's why you have the court system even though some cases and victories are mind-boggling and I find myself disagreeing on the reward.

The other thing however to look at is if you feel someone is cheating and getting away with it...what do you do?

In the case with what Floyd did right, was him asking for additional testing that is more capable of detection and/or deterring cheating.

You can't name names without proof. And you can't use "His head is bigger" or whatever else it was with increased size and ability.
It can be used as an alarm for you to get testing done but I just don't see how you can name names and say it as fact that someone is cheating without proof even if you firmly believe it.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

The guy has just been served a cease and desist from GB to try and deter him from investigating this.

A journo is not supposed to act on whispers and tip offs? :rofl What the **** are they supposed to do, only report things they discover first hand, within 10 feet of the news desk . . . .
