    Nah, I didn't.

    Good read, though.

I don't know why you're acting surprised Shaun, corporations do this all the time. They have teams of lawyers who send out letters as such when damaging publicity is the possible result of unsubstantiated reporting.

You would be amazed how much they push those things over here in the states. If you listen to the radio for five minutes, you're hearing about a boner pill.

I think that has to do with contamination.

Contamination, personally, if I were a "clean" athlete, would worry me. Even make me paranoid.

But as an active athlete, it is your job to make sure your supplements all have a seal of approval. And I guess don't eat out. Prepare your own food. Make sure when you get food, like meat, you get hormone free and so on. Don't shake anyone's hand because it could be someone who wants you to fail so he rubs testosterone cream on his hands just before he shakes yours. Trainer, Massage therapist, Girlfriend...once to get you back and crushes up something into your food or rubs something on you when you are sleeping. Someone blows weed in your face. Replaces your sugar jar with cocaine. Mixes Steroid tablets into your Vitamin container.

 I know its paranoid and maybe unlikely to happen but the possibility might drive me crazy. Especially hearing some crazy stories (away from sports) over the years that happen to be true.

I'm not surprised, I was talking specifically to that guy who said that a journos job is not to act on rumours and is only to investigate the truth.

Media defendants are practically impossible to defeat in defamation cases. This kind of threat really only made things worse for GBP/Mayweather.

 It's possible, but, I don't think one needs to be that stringent with what he's doing. Complete random testing exist in other sports all year (the UK, anyway), and athletes here rarely get accidentally popped for contaminated samples or accidentally taking something they shouldn't have.

But I guess the culture/attitude towards sports here is way different to what it is in the US or other places.

No, the guy has been served a cease and desist order from reporting bull**** as truth. The information on this is easy to find but he would rather seek out WMDs rather than say that there really is no smoking gun . . . Its called Journalistic integrity! A sports journalist like any journalist has a lot of power in the pen and can have major impact on the way things are perceived. He has a duty to not spread gossip because of his position. He is not a regular joe who can say almost anything with very little ramifications . . . this guy has the power (job) to influence thousands of minds. those guys over at Maxboxing have always had a hate on for PBF so I hope it doesn't stop and gets his ass whipped in court.

Besides the guy should have finished reporting the case before he makes a story

No **** this might as well as been Scoop Malinowski another writer that hates PBF. Montoya is as a big of a PBF hater as many posters here and has little credibility when talking about him. Might as well have Farmboxer throwing this stuff around.

Sorry to steer this off topic, but it appears to me that you are mad. Why are you mad?
