"I concur, definitely. Nobody comes back from a KO 5. You should just give up and not seek a rematch, definitely."

lol nah, I'm a huge Froch fan too. . . I kept saying before the fight, whatever happens, I'd be a winner, and a loser. . .

Bute vs. Dirrell - winner gets a second crack at Froch. :deal

Neither should be in the conversation without beating someone equatable to each other.

Except that Froch actually destroyed Bute through and through, while Lennox lucked out with a freak cut and was getting punched from pillar to post before that

What immediately comes to my mind is Taylor/Pavlik. . . But in that fight, Taylor almost had Pavlik out of there (who knows, another ref, another day, fight could have easily been waved off in the second), and he was pretty boxing boxing on even terms. . .

In the rematch, he did better, but Pavlik still clearly outboxed, and outworked him to a close, but clear win. . . 115-113 on my card.

I don't see this as being that type of situation.

F.cuk it! Go for it Bute.....

I would love to see him take on Froch again, in Canada.

It is a really risky strategy but if he gives himself a few weeks off and then gets straight back into training he could do it!

Didn't support him in the first fight ( I was neutral ) but I am Loving his attitude.

Bute is too weak for Froch, Froch destroy him the same way in 10 of 10 matchups...

the only reason anyone would hate bute is the blind loyalty and absurdity of his fans, but in all actuality, he's a good guy. he was brutally, stopped, didnt quit, and he wants a rematch badly. you have to commend that level of committment and mental toughness, but there's really no way to view their first experience from a standndpoint that would make the likelihood of a second bute drubbing any less of a possibility.

Not sure about that. There are boxers who have recovered from much worse beatdowns

Bute could recover from this, maybe even beat Froch, but one thing is sure, it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. If he picks Froch as his next opponent he'll get his ass kicked again.

A loss like that either brakes your soul or makes you stronger. Hope Bute knows what he's doing. Im not sure he actually wants to fight Froch next but if he does i wanna see a war written all over his face, not a smiling clown. Now he knows what he's in for and if he takes the rematch i wanna see two champions battle no matter the outcome.

Would be fantastic if this happened in Romania as im sure all the 50 000 seats would be filled and the crowd would go nuts.
