Do Pacquiao fans not care about the Bradley fight

To be perfectly honest at first I didn't because I was sure this was another keep busy fight ala Clottey.
I thought Bradley not having serious power to hurt Pac and not having the experience of JMM on the ring will result to a short fight.

After seeing how determined Timmy is and after rewatching several of his fights (not to mention a snapshot of his strategy against Pac on the first 24-7), I'm beginning to see this as a competitive fight.

And hey it's still Bradley. He ain't THE undefeated champ of 140 for nothin'. (OK maybe he ducked Khan a bit)

As a fan of "boxing" you should like what you see in Bradley. **** *******s, even your own boy Skip Bayless is interested in this one.

This fight is better than the ****ing Margarito fight you ***gots got all excited over. You mutha ****as hyped up Margarito like he was god when Manny was fighting that cheating mutha ****a.

Wel, atleast with Margarito he had the big weight and size advantage and the proven ability to keep coming through all types of punishment to break fighters down, and we all knew he came to WAR! That's why casuals loved that fight, winning or losing, getting punished or not, Margarito would make sure it was a fight every second and not a hug and run fest. Boxing fans didn't like this fight too much, you're confused, Margarito was seen as shot and that was post plaster-gate.

I like Bradley as a human being outside the sport and how he's come across in 24/7. That's not going to fool me into hyping this fight when I always believed it's going to be one-sided (though i probably will buy it as I always tend to do with big fights with a bunch of friends and family around). But I'll be happy not to reward Bradley with my money for ducking Khan, the fight that should've happened and the fight which would've been best for boxing. Don't give me, "if you're a boxing fan, you should support this fight", rubbish. If you're a boxing fan you'll boycott all Mayweather/Pac bouts until they quit dodging the fight the sport and all it's fans have been demanding for 3 years now.

I class myself as a boxing fan. I watch it every weekenf. I pay for Boxnation and get up at 3 in the morning for every HBO/Showtime/PPV event.

I go to all the live events I can in England, and I box myself in the amateurs.

And yes I'm a Pacquiao Fan. Unless you bought into the Floyd nonsence about how its all due to drugs and catchweights! How the hel can you not be a fan of the guy after all he's achieved in the sport.

He has limited personality, so all his popuairy is through his ring wars.

Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley is a must watch fight for any true boxing fan. There isn't anything bigger than a Manny Pacquiao fight going on for the rest of the year, regardless of who the opponent is. The fact that he is fighting a young undefeated american boxer is something to be noted.

As for Paquiao vs Mayweather.

If you have let any particular fanfare deter you from seeing a sporting event of such magnitude in itself, well, I don't think you are much of a boxing fan at all.

 

I'm neutral to rivalries. Fanboy bickering is the scourge of the internet, however. The Pac/May "debate" is just as bad and childish as video game system wars. If Pac/May gets made, I'm paying for and watching it. I'm just certain that no matter what the outcome, the fanbases will get even more obnoxious.

And you deny that Peterson and Berto testing positive, having those two major fights canceled, and Paul Williams' career ending aren't bigger things to talk about?

They aren't exactly known for reporting much of anything on boxing but they were consistently speaking on the Floyd/Cotto fight. I was surprised at how often it was mentioned leading up to.

I've yet to hear a single word on Pac/Bradley though. Not even from Skip Bayless, who is supposedly one of Pac's biggest fans. Way to show your support Skip Baseless for your fav fighter.

The Margarito fight was horrible and degrading to Manny. He should never have gotten that fight after cheating. Since being busted, he has done nothing to prove that he didn't cheat off and on throughout his career.

Bradley didn't duck Khan and Manny is a harder fight than Khan could dream to be.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are the 2 biggest fighters in the sport, and to suggest that "to be a boxing fan you would stop watching them" is stupid.
