Eubank responds to Froch claim!

Eubanks won bigger fights, and won his most important fights. Benn & Watson fights where monumental iconic fights, that Eubanks had to win to forever become immortal. The fact of the Matter is Froch lost to Kesseler and lost to Ward, and these should of been the iconic fights, and it's why he is not of legendary status in this country........I like Carl Froch, and people keep banging on about his string of 8 fights which where great. But for me Eubanks, Benn, Calzaghe have all beaten better fighters.........I am not one of these people taking it too far with the credit for being brave and determined even when losing fights, Froch seems to get way too much of this. If you want to start wanking over fighters being brave, David Haye lost to Wladimir Kiltschko, a fighter who out weighed him by almost 3 stone! Slayed Valuev who outweighed him by 8 stone? But he's a coward according to some British boxing folk. I think Joe Calzaghe could go into a 6 month training camp now! And beat Carl Froch! I want it to happen!

I agree with your point about Haye. People were wanking over Pac fighting ODLH, but the weight differential was nothing compared to Haye's two biggest fights!

 

I think it will happen! Calzaghe is never out of shape, fair play he likes to party, but such is life.

 

After a win against some over protected Canadian who looked like he wanted to cry after the first jab Froch wants to comepare himself to Eubank? Has he forgotten how Ward made him his *****.

That said for the talent Froch has he has most definitely over achieved. So hats of to him.

To be honest when comparing top level fighters in different era's there isnt going to be too much between them and there will always be an argument for one or the other.

Froch has only lost twice, I think he can avenge the Kessler loss but Ward is just not worth pursuing, IMO he's a bit of a spoiler, great boxer but doesnt really want to fight, fair enough its about hitting and not getting hit.

IMO there's nothing between Eubank and Froch or any of the others mentioned, Benn, Collins, Calzaghe etc, there would be weaknesses and strenghts for each fight, a Eubank v Froch fight would be totally differnt to Benn v Froch.

Any one of them could win!

 

Not to mention that if Froch v Eubank were to fight 10 times, it wouldn't mean the outcome could well be 5-5!

But if Froch can avenge his losses as Lewis did which isnt impossible, then for me he will up there above Calzaghe and Eubank etc. Two wins away

 

I thinkt he point Froch makes is that he has fought everyone out there. You could argue that Eubank fought higher calibre fighters but he did not (b no fault of his own) fight the two big Americans Roy Jones and James Toney. I'm not arguing for either side just saying it as I see it

 

Eubanks record is littered with so so contenders in between the big fights BUT people forget HOW OFTEN he fought. I won't hold them against him so much if he is smashing them out every 2 or 3 months.
