That is a very intriguing idea. This whole thing does seem like a huge coincidence today, with what the possible USADA test fudging. The cease and desist letter by GBP to this Montoya character. Then Montoya reporting on this alleged counter-suit tomorrow.

I don't think they would file for malicious prosecution. I really doubt Floyd is looking for monetary compensation for his court costs in defending against these baseless charges but who knows what his team is planning...:think

Find one statement Floyd made before the suit was filed where he said anything about Manny directly taking steroids. You won't. Everything has been since, which Mayweather has been pretty careful about exactly what he has said. For a while, he wouldn't even mention anything about it and just mention he's being sued and cannot speak on the matter.

I know Sr. and Jr. look alike, but you guys are having mistaken identity issues.

The Mayweather counter-suit action is very old news, it has nothing to do with the Montoya-GBP situation just arisen

Pacquiao is on them power-pellets, phillipines makes the best steroids, **** like that...he didn't directly come out and say it, but you know what he was alluding to. Recently he's gone crazy in accusing Pacquiao of PED use, saying it's common sense he uses and pointing to the size of his head as proof...if they don't get him for what he said before, he'll be got for the **** he said after

Is it me or does Floyd always make a big announcement around the time of a Manny fight.

No, Floyd just mentioned "power pellets" in direct relation to Manny Pacquiao. Now, Manny has to insinuate, that the phrase "power pellets" somehow cost him revenue, and defamed his character. You can see how little this case has to go on. Especially when GBP have already settled, being the real lynch pin to connect with Floyd. They really don't have anything on Floyd.

Mayweather since has been more vocal, but it doesn't matter at this point. None of it is admissible.

Pacquiao is the one who originally sunk down to the lowest of low/ complete ***** move level of bringing boxing trash talk to the courtroom.

If we are talking about things beyond dispute, let's discuss the chain of events that caused this lawsuit, which are not in question:

Floyd asks for 14 day cutoff with random testing, Manny refuses and sticks to his 21 day cutoff demands. This ends negotiations.

Floyd is (rightfully) confused about why Manny would refuse stricter drug testing, and speculates, like many boxing fans, that he must be using PEDs.

Floyd is caught on camera candidly speaking about Pac and making comical comments insinuating that he is on PEDs.

Pac gets mad and takes him to court, because he's butthurt, instead of taking the tests, proving his innocence and brutally beating the man he says he knows he can beat.

If you know you can beat up someone you don't like AND make one of the biggest paydays in boxing history AND simultaneously clear your name of all PED accusations by taking the fight then why not just do that? Instead of that -- Pac takes it to ****ing court, and sues the guy. What the **** is wrong with this kid? Is he scared, a drug cheat, or just an idiot?

Then why did Montoya announce it? Obviously there is a new facet to it.

No matter how you guys play dumb or ignorant as to what Mayweather and his clan accused Pacquiao of, bottom line is, they did accuse Pacquiao of PED use without any basis and maligned his name. They talked about it left and right in the media as if they were above the law.

Only fools won't see the glaring truth about their misdeeds.

Counter-suit vs Pacquiao? Nah.. whatever. Floyd can always do what he wants but the law will always side with the truth. Interestingly, it sits opposite Floyd.:verysad

Pac is ****ed if medcal records are requested as well. Manny has real bad kidneys that he takes medication for which is supposedly a trait of someone using PED's. I say this helps the fight. If Manny gets popped on some **** I'm sure Team Pac will be willing to finally reach an agreement. I had a few drinks with Oscar's cousin and another employee from GBP and they told me it's common knowledge that Pac is using performance enhancers. This was during the Floyd/Cotto fight a few weeks back. Never wanted to bring the story up in regards to catching some **** but I truly feel Manny is ****ed if this goes anywhere.

Well ****, I see references to Mayweather's counterclaim from 2010. After pissing around, I found his claim here:

    http://www.fightlawyerblog.com/2010/07/mayweather-jrs-counterclaim-for.html

It seems pretty weak. I'd like to think this is something new.

On a separate note, it's a pain in the ****ing ass to find the complaint. I got excited when I found the docket in Westlaw, but I couldn't bring up the filings.
