As you know with my recent Roy Jones threads, i've been watching his whole career pretty much the past few days...

Check out this flurry at around 4:15 in the Ron Amundsen fight in 1989...jesus christ

So relaxed, allowing him to throw at that speed.

All boxers should be taught to go for speed instead of power from an early age.

haha very sweet. Was hoping to see the Pazienza finish- mabye not the quickest but how well selected and destructive his punches are is insanse. Vinny will have been hurting th day after that one. I just downloaded a RJJ torrent, gonna start it soon.

the counter on the ropes, where he puts his hands behind his back is my favourite KO of al time.

That along with the Sickening Mike Tyson one where he Knocks the guy out with one running punch, sending the gumshield flying out of his mouth.

    Both for different reasons

he should have slowed down a little and worked more on some basic anti-getting knocked out often related skills

Damn. Indeed a once in a lifetime talent.
My only regret is I didn't follow his career more closely.
