It's hard to be considered an elite fighter if you fight away.

If Ward fought Froch in England and lost, Froch would be the elite fighter.

He may not have had a big following but he was still considered one of the top guys at 140 coming into the Bradley fight.

    Maybe this is a reason:

Joe caught him there, those gusts of air might have hurt Peter.

Yeah, nothing like that would ever happen in America. No bad decisions.

Ask Erislandy Lara, Felix Sturm, Lennox Lewis...

    loving the avatar too.

    Bottom line is

Froch, kessler, Dirrell, Abraham and Taylor all travelled throughout the s6. Ward did not and emphatically refused to. So any one telling me it didn't ****ing matter is deluded. It obviously mattered to Ward and his team otherwise it wouldn't have been an issue. Travelling away can be a big issue for fighters that have never done it before.

My take is that ward is very skilled but has his limitations. He can't ktfo anyone, he also punches and clinches way too often, something that is completely overlooked by refs thus far. Ward and his team know that in Europe, refs would caution him for looking to hit and then hold up close all the time. He would be made to fight and imo this would provide a closer spectacle. A fight that ward would be favourite to win but it would be harder for him for sure.

I believe that Froch would be in with a shout if he fought him rough, the way he should of always done. The last time they fought, Froch was trying ****ing box him!!! A man who TRIES to be Roy Jones but without prime Roy talents is going to fail... Froch is what you 'might' call, an educated brawler...

In Ward's country, not quite so neutral even if it is 3,000 miles away.

Why do people consider a close fight a robbery?

I scored Froch-Dirrell and Kessler-Froch 6-6 and the home fighter got both decisions.

A robbery is Lewis-Holyfield I. The Yanks are just as corrupt as the Brits / Germans / Danes / Canadians.

Don't you think Ward is good enough to get a clear decision that takes away any potential for a close fight being scored for the home fighter?

I don't remember you guys crying about the ref or the judges after the fight. hmmm... wonder why? Oh its because it was a 11-1 drubbing that made Carl look like a scrub after all his big talk. Let him beat Kessler before even trying to come calling.

You assume correctly...it's not "rules" that make people travel, it's money.
