Larouche has let Bute down badly here. Pathetic.

Bute gave Froch full credit for the win, made no excuses, and said the better man won the fight. (And I've watched every interview Bute gave in Romanian).

Larouche should be reprimanded for this.

He says at the end 'I am not looking for a reason for Lucien's defeat...' - which prompts the question, why go into this at all, what other reason could he have?!

Thank you for posting - although it is not a great ad for google translate lol - but it's a shame that he said all this.

Why didn't he just watch Froch have his hands wrapped before the fight?

Perhaps Andrade and Magee (who also wobbled him in the 4th round) also had the plaster of Paris. Golovkin too. Of course, the logical explanation is that Bute's chin is dodgy as ****.

Exactly! But I think what Larouche is suspicious of here is not the wraps, but the gloves themselves (e.g. may they have had padding removed, etc.)

Trying to drum up interest for a re-match maybe? By casting doubt on the validity of Froch's win.

Exactly. Also, like I said on the general; Froch's performance wasn't an anomaly. We saw him do what he does at his best, coming forward and throwing. He was allowed to land flush on several occasions and if you've been wobbled by the likes of the aforementioned, you're a gonner against the Cobra if you leave yourself open.

I agree. We saw JuanMa banned for his comments about a referee, why should Larouche be any different

Not least, he should be reprimanded by his boss, Jean Bedard, Interbox's boss, for bringing Interbox and Bute into disrepute.

Hang on - it's through Google Translator. It might not be so bad... he could have been answering a question.

Larouche was an absolute class act in the post-fight interview so this is surprising & quite disappointing to hear from him
