brook needs to fight some top guys at 147, then we will see. malignaggi a title holder at 147 now, so he would be a good measuring stick

if only Kotelnik had this same attitude towards Khan when Khan had beaten nobody, been put on his bum by Willie ****ing Limmond and sparked out by Prescott.

This is akin to a Uni graduate trying to find a job. They have all the tools to do the job better than most but because they have no experience they are overlooked... But then how is that graduate ever going to get the required experience unless someone takes a punt on him???? And lets be honest here... the only fighter around the weight at world level that could make good money out of a Brook fight is Khan.

I think Brook takes Khan out with a well timed counter if they ever fought. Khan really does not impress me at all. He has very little in the way of chin, still very very amateurish in his style, panics under attack and has no inside game at all.

Sad thing is i was a fan of his after the Olympics and was really excited by his potential when he turned pro. A few years on and i really don't rate him at all. The day Khan fights a live opponent with a combination of skills and power he will be taken out. Brook is all wrong for Khan and he knows it.

And before anyone says it... no i am not a Brook, blueprint fanboy. I judge a fighter by the abilities shown in the ring and so far Brook has shown me to be a more capable and well rounded PROFESSIONAL fighter... Amirs style really hasn't translated to well to the Pro game.

I agree Kell needs to fight a world level opponent... but why has that opponent got to be somebody other than Khan???? Khan telling Brook to fight Ortiz when i think Khan himself would lose to Ortiz

don't like khan, don't like his personality, don't like his shitie jab jab jab run away style, don't like his footwork, his speed ruins his punch,he is very amateurish in a lot of things he dus,but he is world class though,no doubt, not eleite world class but world class never the less.

before we all think brook with beat khan(which i want the gay sounding bloke to do) he has to fight someone of worth,he has not been tested by a world class operator, its ****ing simple really

How many of you with the "Brook would destroy Khan" stuff are joking and how many are genuine?

If only the bookies shared the ESB view, I would love this match to come off so I could make some money. Brook does not pose any of the problems that cause Khan trouble and stands and fights in a way that plays right to Khan's strengths.

Brook has composure, skills, accuracy, timing, hand speed and power... that is Khans worst nightmare. Khans ideal opponent is a feather fisted boxer (mallignaggi) or a clueless, slow brawler (Maidana) or shot to **** old fighters.
A young, confident, well rounded boxer puncher is exactly what the jittery, amateurish Khan doesn't want to face.

I don't think Brook destroys Khan by the way. I think Brook stops him in a competative fight while it lasts, with a well timed counter when Khan throws one of his over extended jabs or jittery, pitter patter, crazed combos that have very little thought process behind them.

I just don't like the arrogance of Khan that Brook has to fight a world level fighter before the will accept to fight him. Both being british and the hype around Brook there would be no problem selling the fight in this country.
Khan got his title shot by doing **** all but expects Brook to earn his.... hypocrisy and arrogance at it's best.

My post may be slightly biased but I think Khan is over hyped, very cleverly matched and just an all round dick... and i don't like his style at all...

Let's see Brook in with a genuine world-level guy before jumping to conclusions. I still believe he's too unrefined technically to really trouble Khan.

Peterson is far more unrefined technically but gave Khan all sorts of problems. You don't get anymore unrefined than Maidana who almost had Khan out of there in the 10th and made it a very close fight. The same Maidana that recently got completely shut out against Alexander.

Khan has been very very cleverly matched and i would honestly put a hefty bet on Brook should this fight happen... I just think Brook is all wrong for Khan. Power, speed and excellent timing... a combination of things Khan hasn't come across in a single opponent

Peterson is more proven and better skilled than Brook.

Yes but Khan has proved he can take a punch aswell as punch as hard himself, he took everything from Maidana had where others were knocked out. he took everything Peterson had.
I dont think Brook will be hitting any harder, Khan may take a few but he has shown his resistance and ability to comeback and give it back, he's more experienced fought better fighters and takes it on points for me!
