People are totally ******ed if they think Froch would stand a chance after the beating he took

Ward could fight him in his kitchen at a family reunion and it would not change the outcome of the fight

Easy for you to say. Harder for Ward to do. It's why he never will.

The fight in Capital City was a home turf fight for Ward because he was the US fighter fighting against a foreign fighter

Just as froch would have a 'home' fight if he fought in London

It would only be different if Ward was fighting a guy from the US there

if that's true why hasn't Ward traveled yet?it's not like he's geting payd a-la mayweather/pacquiao in US,he would make 3 times the money he's making in US by fighting in UK or Denmark and he would wax that arses again right?well,he doesn't think so and neither should you...

Perks? Fighting in front of a couple thousand in Oakland is a perk? What is Ward making for a Dawson fight? Surely not as much as he would with a top European guy in Europe?

Ward beats Froch at any location IMO,but you have to be the most ignorant, half witted poster on ESB.
Do you understand Demographics, culture, language etc etc ?
France is 14 miles from England, would that make a fight in Paris a hometown fight for an English fighter ?
Mexico and the United States border one another, now would a Californian fighter rather fight in Tijuana or Atlantic City ?
The United States and England have very little in common culturally, other than speaking the same language.
    Mileage means jack ****.

ward absolutely whitewashed carl froch in the super six tournament finals, why would he fight carl in england? why? I doubt he even plans on fighting carl again, period. that chapter in his life has ended. doesn't he want to move up to 175?

Because Ward is #1 and Froch is #2. Ward is WBA/WBC and Froch is IBF champion.

The "whitewash" was scored 115-113 by two judges, in America.

Why not do it in England?

I doubt very much he would show the same courage as Bute did.

come on man, those scorecards were misleadingly close. ward completely neutralized carl froch and dominated him for the overwhelming majority of the fight. only when ward got sloppy because of froch's pressure did froch have some success, and when I say "success", I mean it in a relative sense. that wasn't the first time where the judges were clearly judging a different fight. he beat froch already, and moving up to 175 depending on the dawson outcome is totally acceptable. it's not like he's fighting andre dirrell, mikkel kessler again, or edwin rodriguez. froch can fight those guys.

keep in mind that he already beat carl froch. you make that courage statement, as if ward has never met carl froch in the ring.

In all sports one team can win at home, but lose badly away.

It takes courage to fight in an opponents home country, Froch and Kessler have done it many times. Ward never will.

ughhh sad.. just sad.. please go back to the video Round 8 when Froch Hit Ward Clean with a Right Hook After the bell.. NO GLASS SHATTERED... It never stops here.. Froch gets humbled after the S6 Tourny and the voices grow silent.. He gets a great victory over a champ..(by the way who I give full cred to Froch for doing his thing and making the KO) Now the Froch fans have courage to say WARD would beat Froch in England.. When the truth is.. Ward has seen what froch has to offer and With Wards great skill the rematch could be worse for Froch than the 1st fight..

2,931 miles is the distance from Oakland to Atlantic City..

3473 miles is the distance from Nottinghamn to Atlantic City..

    This is joke right..

Ward is an Unknown 3000 miles from his home in Oakland in Atlantic City... In America Ward is only know by hardcore fans.. he doesn't have a mainstream following..

At least Froch fought once before in Atlantic City.. Ward never fought there..

Virtually it is a wash.. no real advantage for either fighter...

The last time Ward fought overseas.. He won a Gold Medal in Greece.. So get over yourself people.. He has a pasport and has what many do not.. and yes earned it in Europe...:deal
