Spot on mate, Ward is technically better than Froch but over time Froch will be respected and appreciated more than Ward , despite Ward being the better of the 2.

In his homeland Ward is allowed to spoil thats why he seems to stay and only fight in the U S he keeps all his comforts, but in europe no way would he be allowed to do as hes done. But even if the 2nd fight is in America i think it will be a closer fight, now that Froch has started to base his stratedgy on speed of punch and up the middle.

Andre Ward is going to lhw, no matter what. Everybody knows this. So why would he take the best lhw and fight him at smw. Dawson is very big for that weight, he will be drained clearly at 168. Chad said he could fight him at 175 or 168. The fact that Ward who will go to lhw right after it will drain him, shows alot about his character. Dawson just wants the fight, even if he is at a disadvantage. Hopefully its alteast at a catchweight.

3.refuses to fight abroad and is therefore not worthy of respect.

Oh I agree, he's got a good resume, it'll just be even more respected if he can beat some top guys away. Between Ward and Froch the top guys have been beaten so a fight away to the Froch-Kessler II winner is the best fight out there at 168 lbs.

I agree, which is why something such as fighting away and a second win against the clear #2 in the division will help his resume no end.
