Vitali by KO. The size is obviously a huge advantage, and Vitali's timing in his prime was very good. He would catch the smaller Tyson alot. This is a no doubter that Vitali takes this.

I don't think there is any doubt that Vitali would have won that fight without the cut which Lewis opened with his thumb which should have made the fight TD for Vitali if the ref actually called it.

The size is why he wont touch Tyson. Tyson used his shortness to duck below a fighters range. He was the best at it. Prime Mike had the best HW defense ever.

Vitali wouldnt land a single shot on him. He cant handle a slick fighters.

what the **** is vitali then you twat?? tysons oppessition was head and shoulders above vitalis! and vitali couldnt take the torch from the aging champ! vitali never avenged his losses! he folds and quits when fighters fight back. he looked like he was gonna cry against chisora.
surprised he didnt quit then, but the excuses did come out though cos he wasnt having his way.
taylor swift and vladimir are the same. all about hating tyson.

    Peak for Peak Tyson

But 5 years after peak Vitali wins.

Tysons true peak was a short time , partly just being a short power puncher , partly mental issues , partly bad luck with trainers.

    Vitali in a hilarious mismatch.

Tyson is a hyped up phenom.

You really think Vitali's 6'8" lean back counter punching style is anything but PERFECT for a shorter, agressive fighter?

People forget Vitali has the BEST hit/not get hit ratio in the HISTORY OF THE SPORT, after none other than Floyd Mayweather Jr. He loves playing defense, loves when fighters bring the fight to him.

Tyson can't box with a guy like Vitali as Byrd did (Byrd still only won 1 or 2/9 rounds by "boxing" Vitali). That's not Tysons style. He would go for the kill and get knocked out. Even if he did connect well, Vitali has an iron chin to back him up.

This is the truth, deal with it.

Do you think that has anything to do with the fact he has only fought 1 decent fighter?

Tyson, Vitali has never fought anyone in the caliber of a prime Tyson.

It has to do with the fact that he's excellent at controlling distance, has a VERY high ring IQ, great work rate, great reflexes, great counter punching while leaning back to discourage fighters from throwing.

Tyson has been defeated every time he stepped up in class. EVERY. TIME.

Vitali is a big step up in class.

But then the same can be said of Vitali. The only time he stepped up to someone in the class of Tyson he got the left hand side of his face minced up.... that was against an old, overweight version of that class of fighter too.... when he was in his prime.

edit: Thought i would also mention too... Vitali didn't control the distance very well that night against lewis neither. Lewis's footwork was ****ing aweful compared to what it usually was, that night and was still regularly in range.

Vitali controls distance well against the likes of Sam Peter... not so well against the Elite i'm afraid and there was noone in HW history (not even Frazier) better at closing the distance

Vitali has been defeated when he stepped up! Everything about vitali is all based on a LOSS to an ageing champ! Vitali is more over hyped than tyson ever was! In the last few years tyson gets underrated if anything!
