Jared, you're an idiot. No good journalist ever betrays their source.

    Do one.

The journalist doesn't have name them, the person making the allegations needs to do it publicly. If it ever came to court they'd have to.

But anyway there is no source, it's tabloid journalism. If Mayweather had ever tested positive there's nothing GBP or Mayweather Promotions could do about it. The only weird thing is why GBP would even bother threatening to sue. It's nothing more than internet hearsay and their actions are only going to bring more attention to it.

:good Interesting stuff. I've been reading a lot of Victor Conte's comments on the VADA situation and his beef with Ariza. It really does feel like something nasty is brewing and about to spill over in terms of some of the top fighters. It's getting to be a bit of a witch hunt, but it's likely that there are some bigger scalps than Peterson and Berto to come.

Got busted for Nandrolone but it was a "contaminated" sample pretty much. Findings were in the parts per million range I believe

It's a subject worth examining. But only if it meets Jared's high standards.

You can't make things up and print it, that's libel. Claiming it's from an "anonymous source" is just an old journalist trick.

We're talking about two international bodies here, both with a scope bigger than boxing. If Mayweather is doping, its because he's beating the system. The system isn't taking backhanders from GBP to keep positive results secret. If you believe that's whats happening, join the other *******s in the general.

I don't think anyone here has accused GB of giving USADA back handers. Not that I've seen. The issue is over potential exemption clauses and publication dates of test results stipulated in the contracts between GB and VADA, and Mayweather and the USADA. That much is made clear in Goldenboy's cease and desist letter that I posted on the first page. The dicussion is over legally binding contractual agreement, not back alley bungs and shady dealings. I'm not sure where the confusion has come from.

No one here is saying 'I bet Mayweather's paying off the USADA'. That would be ridiculous. They're just discussing how the contracts between these bodies might work and Mayweather's admitted 'close relationship' with a man who owns over 20 hormone replacement clinics in the US.

It more than likely bull**** which can be squashed when Floyd discloses his contracts, test results and medical records as part of his counter lawsuit against Pacquiao. But as for people discussing this, I don't know what's wrong with that.
