ward's a class above froch as a fighter and fighting at home or abroad would never change that.

Only andre ward can answer the question that was initially asked. nevertheless, he's proven, quite thoroughly despite what the judges thought, that he's the superior pugilist. it's that simple.

I'm just going to say this and leave it at that. If you HONESTLY think Ward-Froch was REALLY a 115-113 fight, then there is nothing else I can say to you. If I were a Froch fan, I'd cling to the two scores of 115-113 like a baby to a tit also, but the judge that had it 118-110 had it right. If you feel like Froch exposed Ward by losing what most honest people saw as a lopsided fight, then good for you. I simply disagree and am content to leave it at that.

Andre Ward was interviewed by Steve Bunce on his BBC radio show tonight. Bunce asked Ward if he would fight Froch in England. Ward said because he's already beaten Froch should not have to, but he would consider it.

To be fair he wasn't that convincing. Nevertheless, Ward is taking a very tough fight against Dawson next. Chad is the favourite in my eyes.

Well how does anyone think Carl would do against Chad? This is a bad fight for Ward because if he wins, the weight will be the excuse. Dawson asked for it, so I have no sympathy for him if he loses, if he wins, he gets all the glory though....

Dawson beats Froch every time, and I think he beats Pascal in a re-match.

Ward/Dawson is 50/50 but I choose Dawson. Maybe Ward can be too fast and slippery, and nick the rounds on work rate and scoring shots. It may get very ugly and untidy.

I honestly do not buy that until he mans up and meets either Kessler or Froch abroad.

Until then he is an Ottke who probably can keep winning at home... but it wont mean much.

Bute was all nerveous and jittery and expended enough energy on spastic inefficient 'feints' in round one so that he would not have made 12 rounds in this fight either way. This is one of the things fighting on foreign soil can do.

Ward may run into the same. There is really no reason to think he can handle it.

Why does it seem like all this questioning of Ward is coming after he won the Super Six? It really truly seems like butt hurtness and sour grapes. Nobody cared if he fought abroad before the tourney, now after the fact I guess some folks need something to cling to. "Well he wouldn't come to Nottingham and beat Froch". The really funny thing is I have yet to hear Carl say anything close to what his fans are saying about Ward to Nottingham. Not one word...

The bottom line is that Ward is the only top fighter in the division who ha never hd a serious challenge and foreign soil.

The ONLY one. He was spoon fed the championship at home in Oakland with a corrupt ref and has milked it ever since. Sure he has looked good (well, he has won at least), but the bottom line remains.

Therefore, don't argue with the form of the argument but with its essence. Anything else will look like an excuse to quit a losing battle.

You are obviously a new fan if you do not know that people have been pointing out this jokeland comedy all along - also during the Super six.
