Floyd would NEVER fight a prime Duran

Guy wouldnt fight a prime Cotto, Paul Williams, Margarito, Pacman, Martinez. He wouldn't go anywhere near Duran.

Duran by way of having bigger balls, and being the better fighter.

Old Mosley had Floyd on ***** street in round 2. Sugar Ray and Duran take Floyd out. JCC kills Pretty Boy as well

Go back talking about Floyd being on Roids, you've been dismissed. Your debates are getting very weak.

Maybe Floyd would win, maybe he wouldn't but his ***** ass ducked Margarito, Martinez, and is now ducking Pacquiao.

He told Margarito he would fight him, striaght up to his face, jittery and scared lookin.

Margarito beat the **** outta Cotto and did irreversable damage, and everyone was like...........MAYWEATHER MARGARITO, but ***** ass Mayweather retired after talkin all that **** about how he woudl fight him.

    So **** this thread.

He won't fight Margarito, he won't fight Martienz after talkin all that **** about sayin he would fight the winner of Williams vs Martinez, and he wont' fight Pacquaio after talkin all that ****.

    PERIOD.

So who gives a ****. He would have ducked Duran.

One can extrapolate and speculate on how Floyd would fair and it can be quite accurate. We do it all the time in life. Obviously it's true Floyd could never be as great as Duran on opponents, but then I think I could argue that really no current day fighter could because the opposition in the game now just wasn't the pool of talent it was then. Point is I don't need to see Barry Sanders perform in a Super Bowl to have an idea that the guy would mop the floor with defenses if he had the opportunity and supporting cast too.

    Just my 2 cents

I don't think he would've ducked Duran from 130-140 bc Duran didn't do much of note around those weights. And Duran really wasn't that great at those weight yet. Floyd would've handle him easy at those weights. Duran became more beastly at 140-147 where Floyd begins to fade. The best chance for Duran to Beat Floyd would be 147 and above for his frame is not carrying the weight well.

As for Floyd not fighting Margo... who cares? He fought Oscar instead who came in 160lbs + that night and made 20+ million. Better opponent and pay. And people can forget about Martinez, FLoyd can't even make the 154lb limit and he is 35 so i doubt it.

You clearly have **** twisted. To fight Margarito Floyd would have had to sign rights to bob and TR. This, AFTER he just paid like $200K to get out of his contract with Bob and TR. This is a damn business and called prize fighting for a reason. Throw in that the sport is so corrupt and littered with bad judging and you have a mixture for "fvck you and the horse you rode in on". How many TR fighters has Floyd fought since he left Bob?

You do realise that 135 is in that weight range don't you? ...and you know that Duran is regarded as one of the greatest 135 lbers of all time, don't you?

You are likely not on ***** street when you come back seconds later and dominate the round and walk Shane down. He got buckled, which is a result of the nerves getting shocked, so to say, but he did not seem to be on ***** street and delusional.

Floyd is considered one of the greatest 130lbs but his resume bloom after same as Duran. He didn't fight big names like SRL, benitez, Hearns, Hagler. I meant skill level peak. IMO Floyd's skill level peak at 135-140 and Duran at 140-147.

    Floyd's 130 run > Duran 135lb run

I think Duran's best chance are at 147 and 154. Both are great boxers in the lower weights and usually the better athlete of the two wins. I'd take Floyd UD from 130-140, Duran UD 147-154

All past prime Duran out of his prime weight category as a LW. Too many people forget the years before Duran moved up, where a baby faced Duran ruled the LW division for years.

Imagine Floyd getting in with Hearns..... oh wait. At least Duran had the balls to get in the ring with Hearns and Hagler.
