Tell you what, since I'm a new fan, find me some posts from BEFORE (key word) the tourney started where people where whining like babies waiting for a tit about Ward not fighting abroad. That's what my post said if typed English can be comprehended.

Before the tourney noone knew exactly who had a homefight when and where. As soon as fans saw that Ward had every fight at home, people obviously thought it was a joke.

So the answer to my question is before all of this nobody gave a damn if Ward fought abroad or not. Ok thanks.

Furthermore, I'm going to assume you all would still be sooooooo butt hurt if this was an all American tourney and Ward still fought at home right?

To be fair we hardly new anything about ward other than he had the talent.

I automatically assumed the tournie would consist of even home and away legs throughout so yes you are right, at that point i couldn't care to think if Ward was getting pampered.

When i found out ward was getting this kind of special treatment, the writing was on the wall and i instantly thought it was a disgrace.

specail treatment ? everybody had to agree. I do remember a certain fighter crying about leaving the UK even after he had robbed someone in the UK

Ok, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, I'm not trying to change any minds. In my own opinion, this whole thread seems like sour grapes because Ward beat three Euros, especially Froch. I find it hard to believe that had Ward lost a fight or two along the way, specifically to Froch or if only US fighters were in the mix and the same home circumstances existed, most of you wouldn't give a damn.

yeas agree to ward having all his fights at home.. does it make it fair?

maybe froch did moan but he still did it and would do it again to get the fights he and the fans want.. just like bute did.. refreshing isn't it?

He'd just fought Kessler in Denmark,

He should have moaned - it was supposed to be equally split home and away.

By all the birds chirping, I'll assume that I'm right. It's cool though, if I were in one of your shoes, I'd probably be whining too...

If anyone in the tourney though it was that unfair, at anytime they could have pulled out. You guys have more heartburn than all the fighters combined about the whole thing. It's over and done with, Ward fought at home primarily and he won the whole thing. Nobody knows for certain if Ward would have lost abroad or not. However, there is no evidence from what we all saw that he would have been beaten overseas. He won all of his fights convincingly. We can what if and speculate forever, but it is what it is. Nobody has to like it and obviously a lot of you don't, but whining about it doesn't change anything.....

There is no need for a rematch really, I mean the fight was so one sided and all done with a broken hand, I dont see a need for the rematch

Maybe the likes of Froch would rather be in the tournament despite the changing of the parameters during the tournament than to pull out of a tournament he had committed to, he would have certainly got stick for pulling out. Of course he is going to complain about it if he thinks he is being hard done by.
