Why should Ward go to England where Froch would have the home town crowd, the home town judge, the hometown ref and the home town commission that let's Froch load his gloves when he can stay in Oakland and secure those advantages for himself? :think

Before Ward's fight with Allen Green Dan Goosen spoke to to Steve Bunce on BBC London. Gossen said that one of the conditions of Ward entering the Super Six was that he must fight at home.

andre ward isn't sven ottke and that's a joke comparison. he dominated the super six tournament, which after froch's recent performance, clearly showcased the ELITE of the super middleweight class. thus, he is the best super middleweight on the plannet.

You have shot yourself in the foot there, seeing as what you state as reasons for Ward not to go to the Uk and fight, are exactly what seem to be the comforts Ward got throughout the whole Super Six tourney. Ward has had his comforts its time for him to show some courage otherwise he will not get recognition. And yes he will get viewed as an Ottke.

As earlier in the debate i pointed out im not a ward hater but a boxing fan, i dont question Wards skills, but more his heart and guts.

Why has he proven that. All he has done, is fighting EU fighters, who all ready had been beaten, Green, Bika and Miranda...........every EU-fighter with that resume, only fighting at home, would be called EU-bum...!!

I doubt very much that Andre Ward, the supremely gifted olympic gold medalist who is regarded by everybody (with the possible exception of internet poster "JoeAverage") as a pound for pound contender and one of boxing's top talents will be viewed as an "Ottke" -- a perfectly unremarkable fighter that scraped by with numerous unimpressive decisions over B and C fighters in front of tepid crowds in Munchen or Hamburg or wherever he fought.

But if it makes you feel better to believe in your heart that "Ward will be viewed as an Ottke" then carry on in that self-preserving delusion.

It's not about courage. Of course these guys have courage or do you think that they have nightmares with each other at nights? They have taken punches too many for that **** of conversation. It all depends on what is Ward's share and what r his real conditions in the UK to prepare himself properly for the rematch. Let's not be childish! To my concern, they can fight in a ship halfway between the UK and the States, right on the Atlantic Ocean. it all comes down to money. You don't deal with Goosen the same way you have done with Bute's people. Better think about avenging Kessler's loss first.
