If he didn't hold on for dear life little Floyd was out. Fair play he did go on to dominate Shane (an old Shane), as did Manny, and Alvarez

You name me 5 fights Floyd has really put himself in a dangerous fight and really tested himself elite level. He may have his '0', but guy will always been known as a ducker, not a bad ass who fought any mother****er out there like Froch, Hopkins, Hearns, Leonard, Ali, Duran,

Hopkins ducked the Jones rematch like the plague. Idiot.

Floyd was in dangerous against Corrales, Castillo, and Hernandez. All elites at the time.

Below 140 who on Duran's skill level did he ever school ?

    Jesus Chavez

    Diego Corrales ?

    Angel Manfreddy ?

At 147 there isn't anyone close to him so I wonder how people come to these conclusions ?

    Come on.

Hopkins green fought Jones. Hopkins also fought Tito, Joppy, De La Hoya, Taylor, Tarver, Winky, Calzaghe, Pavlik, Jean Pascal and Chad Dawson.

Floyd was the favourite against Corrales, Castillo and Hernandez and you can;t compare his resume to someone like Hopkins

At least Floyd fought Shane after he destroy Margo when Margo won his career defining fight, unlike Pac and Alveraz who fought Shane after an embrassing defeat. Also don't even put Froch in the same sentence as Floyd in terms of resume, Froch is no where near Floyd's unless u really want to go there. If you think u can poke holes in Floyd's career it will be 4times as easy to do it to Froch.

As for never fought anyone dangerous. Floyd beat Corrales when Corrales was Koing everyone left and right and standing 5'11 or 6 feet tall was he scared? Castillo cleaned house at 135 was floyd scared? Hatton was undefeated, Ortiz in peak prime, Oscar 160+ in tiny ring, they were all coming off big wins so **** off with ur non sense.

Before you say **** like this you should flip the coin and see who did Duran school 135 and below to suggest he can beat FLoyd?

Duran's best win at 135 was against De jesus and he lost to him too. And De Jesus was a tiny guy of 5'4 who kd Duran in the first round both times. Hell might as well let Corrales and Duran have a go at 130 if duran is going to be knocked around by a midget.

Floyd was the underdog against Corrales.

Are any of those guys Hopkins fought as good as Roy Jones was in 2002 when they were looking to sign the rematch and Hopkins walked? Even Ray Robinson ducked Burley

...... Hatton 140 king having to come up to 147 to fight Floyd

Also Floyd always fights at home. Ill give Mayweather credit for Corrales. He lost the first to Castillo, fair enough he won the rematch. Oscar was spent, nowhere near prime.

And Froch's resume pisses all over Floyds. Floyd may have his 0 and be p4p king but Froch has had 8 world title fights on the trot against the best in the division. He hasn't had to retire twice to avoid competition. Froch also travels to the opponents back yard and will fight them.

You lost ur freaking mind guy. Here we go you ask for it....

You wanna dis floyd's win against Hatton being 140? WTF do you think AA was before 168 tourny? And don't tell that you think AA is a more proven fighter than Hatton.

And don't get me started on how Froch ROBBED DIRRELL IN HOME COURT, after getting taken to school. Oh and his AWESOME victory over OLD ASS HELL JOHNSON 40 years old! or his schooling by WARD??????? GET REAL GUY. What you think beating Bute and either way Pascal is good enough to **** on Floyd's Resume? this is an absolute joke.

It baffles me that people are so willing to give lesser resume dudes credit but won't give Floyd's dues. Floyd won legit while moving up 5 weight classes constantly fighting bigger dudes but he is scared. Whille Hagler who is a big middle weight stay there entire career and fought smaller dudes coming up. I swear people are really messed up in the head.

If Duran had a career today with his wins,he would not be considered a great "by Esb standards".. He beat Sugar Ray once, but then lost to him,Wilfredo Benitez,Hearns and Hagler..

Agree 100% I've been on ESB since 2006 didn't join the forum till 2007 and is the same lunactics who damns Floyd no matter what he does. If people nit pick other great fighters resume as much as they do to Floyd's. NO ONE WOULD BE CONSIDER GREAT.

So who are all these great fighters below 140 that would have had a great shot at beating Mayweather, that didn't beat Duran?

Were you born ****ing stupid, or are you claiming it as some kind of lifetime achievement?

You are too dumb to post on a boxing forum, as evidenced by the fact that you dont even realise that the three fights between Duran and Leonard were at 147 ( twice ) and 160 respectively. **** all to do with Lightweight.

Consider taking up tiddlywinks, you might find it less difficult to understand than boxing.

Should you still consider yourself clever enough to mouth off like a ****** on the subject of boxing here is some advice you might consider. Try actually READING the thread title, which in this instance says Mayweather 130 to 147 beats out Duran ANYWHERE. Duran actually had 7 fights in a year at the age of 19, between 126 and 130, then moved up in weight, so the 130 is a moot point, and therefore not worth discussing.

Whether or not you and all the other Mayweather nuthuggers like it, Duran is considered to be either the # 1 or 2 Lightweight ever. Even Mayweathers family wouldn't be stupid enough to claim Floyd as anywhere near that height, in that division, so his fanboys opinions are worthless.

So boxing is based on size now  And are you saying Corrales beats Duran ?

Thats hysterical yet you want to talk about what people should say :rofl

Once again who has Floyd ever schooled on Duran's level ?We can pick oppenents apart all day ..Judah was able to drop Floyd ..Yet you think he's beating Duran ?
