That's cause Castillo is not that good. He probably won't make it into HOF, much less anyones ATG list. And what exactly happened in the second fight that you're crowing about, FMJ losing only 4-5 rounds?

I'm saying people are saying "duran was better than castillo and floyd lost to him" what they fail to realize in that "close" fight was his hand was injuried thats why in the 2nd fight he got that ass tapped.

if your going to bring up castillo and say duran duran ill simply say that ***** duran quit against SRL

i like duran alot but its pretty simple floyd 130 or 135 is getting in that ass. duran at 140 floyd is getting KTFO...147 is a toss up to be honest but i'm leaning more to duran. just because floyd doesnt hit that hard and duran would walk him down.

You ****in ****** who the **** has Mayweather fought at 147 of the level of palomino & least we forget SRL who had his ass handed to him in Montreal when Duran out boxed/out thought & out fought SRL:deal

Mayweathers a fraud:deal He's cherry picked his way to the top with the complience of HBO.

No way does Mayweather survive 15 rounds against Duran. Whats all the is crap about Duran having trouble against opponants with footspeed!!! He beat all the runners up & was 71/1 when he went in with the P4P goldenboy SRL & whipped him & Leonard said after that fight that he was shocked at Duran's SPEED of FOOT:yep

cherry picked lets be honest here after the tyson lewis era ALL FIGHTERS ARE CHERRY PICKERS Manny included with the exception of a few. Froch being 1. I also cant give floyd a win over duran at 147 there just no way he would stalk him in the ring like he's his shadow. It would be a competitive fight but the win is going to duran and i wouldnt be surprised by a TKO/KO if he caught him

You know hating is bad for your health right??? :verysad

But cool bring up Duran-SRL 1,are you going to ignore the second and third fight??? :-(

Whats all this crap about footspeed? I said foot speed with hand speed and accuracy,a fighter who can hit Duran and get out of there,I'm not saying Floyd would run,im saying he would keep the fight at a range and fight on his terms, and dont tell me it cant be done to Duran,SRL and Benitez showed Duran struggled with this style, With floyd being the defensive wizard that he is,its simple,he would hit and not be hit. :bbb

No one from Duran's era outside of Duran and Dejesus would have beaten Castillo.

Castillo has wins over Diaz, Lazcano, Bazan, Casamayor (P4P), Corrales, and should have a win over Floyd (P4P) in their first match, and beat P4Per Stevie Johnston twice to take his belt.

He'll get into the hall of fame if the writers don't penalize him for his weight issues later in his career

Funny Floyd refuses to fight the other best fighter of his era, for years avoided facing guys that fans wanted to see him with & fights them when they are on the downside like 38 year old Mosley.

Floyd wouldn't even step into the ring with Duran, he don't wanna risk that 0 on his record.

Duran tested himself with the best of available after a long dominant reign as LW champ, he debuted as a pro in freaking 1968, by the time he met Leonard he was already fighting about 12 years as a pro.

Then he went onto fight with the greats of the 80s all the way from WW to MW against Hearns, Hagler, Benitez.

He beat Barkley 21 years after his debut as a pro at a much higher weight class.

I don't ever see Floyd fighting Leonard or Hearns either, he would find some excuse for why he won't fight them.

And what kind of idiot uses Lawlor or Joppy as some kind of evidence, hell I once read an interview of Lawlor where he said even he doesn't count that victory as much because he fought an ancient Duran. Duran was not the first nor will he be the last great fighter who didn't know when to retire, most great fighters (including SRR, SRL, & today its Morales) kept fighting way past their prime but that's not how fans remember them.

Being undefeated doesn't really mean much when you are accused of ducking so many guys by so many people in the Boxing world. People are always talking about how Marciano beat ancient fighters & was overrated, well I can tell you this much, he beat the best that were available to him & was the undisputed HW champ with no losses & didn't duck anyone. That 0 impresses me more than Floyd's.

the problemi have with people who say mayweather is ducking is, the guys they said he was ducking have come and said otherwise..

Prince said he was better, cotto or someone from cotto's camp said he wasnt ready, mosely is the only one you could make argument for and margarito but he was a cheat back then so does it even matter..

your wasting your time homie, there is video evidence of Floyd calling out plenty of guys he was so called ducking. Despite that alot of these guys have came out and said they wasnt ready,or in Mosley case video evidence that he did not want the fight with Floyd. You can come up with all the evidence in the world, fact is Floyd haters are gonna be Floyd haters, and just ignore any FACTS you bring to the table :-(
