Thoughts on the Quillin fight? I haven't heard much about Quillin, and Wright is most likely over the hill. I have heard if Wright is half of his old self, he taps that "Chocolate" ass.

How do you guys see this one playing out?

I wish I could say I have 100% confidence that my boy will go in there and do his thing.

    It's more like 35% though.

LOL, child please. There is no way he's getting big money for this fight. It's an undercard fight on Showtime. He can't be making more than 100K. yOU ARE STR8 TRIPPIN!!!

It depends on how Wright handles fighting at 40. I think if he is HALF of his old-self, it should be a competitive fight.

He could potentially tap that "chocolate" ass

By all means it could be, Quillin for sure isn't the most technical and can be timed, just depends on if Winky's expert timing is still there, which it didn't look like it was back when he fought Williams.

I'll be poppin brews and cheering my boy on like there's no tomorrow regardless though :thumbsup

It's hard to time a guy like Williams when he's throwing 1,200 punches at you. I never understood why Wright took that fight. Awful call by his management.

Agreed. But I attribute some of it to the extended layoff as well.

It's hard to have that sniper timing that made Wink so special when you only fight once every few years.
